The sumptuous bathroom is perfect to start or end your day in indulgent luxury. There's a large Oak table equipped to dine 10 guests.

The crowning glory, Walnut occupies the top floor of the converted barn. From the outside solid Oak staircase you enter into the kitchen. I booked Walnut Cottage for four nights for my son and me to have a short break. Heath Farm is a charming bolt hole set in well-kept, extensive grounds. My son was delighted to discover there was a flying strip too for R/C planes, so...More

About the neighbourhood
The Cotswolds region is an area of natural outstanding beauty and contains many lovely small towns and villages. We are situated in the beautiful north Cotswolds region, 20 miles from both Stratford upon Avon and Oxford. Take in a bit of Shakespeare at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford Upon Avon or one of the other many sites in and around Stratford or go visit the dreaming spires of Oxford, a city of immense architectural and cultural beauty. The nearby countryside is superb with many footpaths and bridleways making the area accessible for walkers and cyclists alike. There's a host of great attractions and activities in the area too many to list here!
Getting around
The most convenient way to see the sights is by car as public transport from the farm is non existent! However, if you wish to have a day out we have great links to public transport from both Charlbury Train station (located 9.2 miles away) with routes to Oxford, Reading, London, Worcester and Great Malvern or from Banbury Train station (located 7.8 miles away) with routes to Oxford, London, Leamington Spa, Birmingham.
Access
Car advised
How to get there
Airport: Heathrow: 109.0 km
Railway: Banbury: 11.0 km
Ferry: Portsmouth Harbour: 161.0 km
We are located on the A361 between Banbury and Chipping Norton, 200 meters away from the turning to Deddington on the B4031. Easy access from the M40 in Banbury. Nearby villages include Great Tew (home of Soho Farmhouse), South Newington, Wiggington and Swerford.
The nearest train stations are in Banbury and Charlbury but a car is highly recommended/necessary as we are not well served by public transport. However, if you fancy a day trip to London during your stay the trains from Banbury run very frequently and the journey is just about an hour.
We have ample safe parking here on site with drop off points nearer the cottages.
