Interaction with guestsPhilip and Jean Evans live nearby in Sequoia House, a splendid Victorian Townhouse. Originally they ran a Luxury 25 Bedroom Hotel here, & after 30 years they closed the Hotel & redeveloped the 1 acre site to luxury Mews Properties, and restored & refurbished Sequoia House to its original period style. The Evans's decided to take it easier and now offer Holiday Lets in the Luxury Mews Apartment & run a quiet luxury B&B in Sequoia House. Their experience in the hospitality business comes through in the standard of comfort, cleanliness & attention to detail afforded in the accommodations. Everything possible is done to make guest bookings & their stay here as convenient, comfortable & enjoyable as possible.

A fantastic apartment in a fantastic location. Close to all amenities yet in a safe and quiet area…the owners have done a great job with No.1 Sequoia. Hoping to return next year.

The location is wonderful because it is a very short level walk to everything that Stratford upon Avon offers. The apartment is beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and all the comfort needed for an enjoyable and relaxing and quiet stay. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and although we did not cook during our stay anyone wishing to self cater would have no trouble with providing meals for everyone.who prefers to eat at home. We would have no hesitation in staying again. Highly recommended.

Lovely accommodation, very well equipped and clean. Arrived on Christmas Eve and the owners of the apartment had even put a little Christmas tree and a few decorations up which was a lovely touch. We had slso taken one just so it felt Christmassy but we didn't need to. Great location just a few minutes walk into Stratford and the recommendactions of restaurants we received from Phil were on point, excellent so thank you. Very good communication with the owners too. Plenty of towels, warm and comfortable for 4 night stay we will definitely return in the future. A little gem.

Excellent location for Stratford Upon Avon and the Cotswolds. Quiet location but only a short walk to Stratford town centre. Very nice apartment.

Excellent location for walking to all main interests that Stratford has to offer. Lovely walk from the back of the apartment through a key coded gate into the town. Apartment has all you need for a self catering break. Not really suitable for anyone with limited mobility as there is a staircase up to the apartment. Car parking space right in front of the apartment which is great.

This is a great little apartment in the heart of Stratford. A lovely 5 minute walk across the River Avon takes you to the RSC and a further 5 minutes to Shakespeare's House. This was our second visit and we've already booked again for next year which tells its own story. The apartment is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Philip and Jean who live close by are perfect hosts, friendly and welcoming but respectful of your privacy. Book it, you won't be disappointed!!

What a great place for a stay in historic and picturesque Stratford-Upon-Avon! The apartment is beautiful- modern, clean, spacious enough for our needs and cosy as well. It's also so lovely to have them gated for that extra privacy. The apartment, while close to the town and hustle and bustle surrounding it, is just perfectly peaceful and sedate- just what we wanted! We came as we wanted to visit the Shakespeare sites primarily and this is the perfect location for it. We were able to walk to them all, barring the farm which is a short train ride away without a car. It's also the perfect base if you want to visit the theatre. Pam, who greeted us on our arrival, and Phillip who dealt with the booking, were both incredibly wonderful and helpful throughout. It was a perfect and relaxing break.

We booked this upstairs apartment for a week. Accessed the property through double gates and was greeted by lovely helpful Jean on arrival. Free parking space right outside apartment. Very clean spacious comfortable modern apartment with living room with kitchen area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one en-suite. Nice and bright with lots of windows and skylights. Kitchen had everything needed including cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Lovely crockery. Living room had small flatscreen tv, two sofas and dining area with round table and chairs. Lighting was good. Bathrooms were lovely - one with shower cubicle, one with bath with overhead shower. Huge bath towels with ample clean ones provided in a large cupboard. Bedrooms had large wardrobes and ver comfortable double beds with lovely bedding. Plenty of storage space. Very quiet and peaceful. Access to the town was through a coded gate at the back of the estate opening on to a tree-lined lane, which was not lit up on a night, so a torch was needed to see the gate keypad when returning late. Very central. Could see the big wheel close by from the apartment window. Loved Stratford upon Avon and this fantastic apartment., Thankyou Philip and Jean for a lovely week's holiday. Highly recommend.
