Cottage
Aberdale Cottage is a spacious, light filled cottage, created out of the conversion of an ancient welsh barn. It has been designed to maximise space, light and warmth and is fully equipped for modern living. Furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture that celebrate its transition from traditional working barn to comfortable home, and with a large south facing garden and terrace area, Aberdale is full of character - the perfect base for anyone wishing to visit or work in Aberystwyth. The house is extremely flexible. All the double beds are super kingsized, and they can all be divided to create twin bedded rooms if this is preferred. The house was ideally located for us, very quiet and relaxing, It was a good base for exploring this lovely part of Wales. Very clean and had a very comfortable feeling. It easily fitted 6 of us with plenty of room. Lovely garden which would have benefitted from some garden furniture other than the pub style table and maybe a slightly shaded area. Would highly recommend and hope to return again soon.

About the neighbourhood
A wonderful feature of Aberystwyth's seafront scenery, Constitution Hill towers over the northern end of the Promenade. Also known as 'Consti', this hill offers unobstructed views over the town and surrounding countryside; Snowdon can be seen on a clear day. An old-fashioned cliff railway runs to the summit - the Cliff Railway - it carries passengers all the way to the top of the Constitution Hill. giving great views of the town and the bay is gradually revealed to you. Opened to the public in 1896, this is one of the longest cliff railways in Britain, carrying passengers 130 metres up the hill along a total track length of almost 240 metres.
