This well and traditionally restored Old Cider House was re-built in 1778, it is believed to have originally been built in the late 1400's and was the cider house to the Lower Stanton Farmhouse until 1958 with its cider press and wheel. There are many of the original features with the ancient oak beams and oak floor boards upstairs, the original old granary steps and signs of where the cider press once stood.

This cottage is ideal for two couples perhaps with children, or four single people with the bedroom layouts.

The busy owners, who run a large milking herd of cows at a neighbouring farm, are very friendly and hospitable and also offer Bed and Breakfast in the farmhouse if there are extra friends or family members wishing to come to stay. Cosy and well located property . Careful with hot water as can run out ! Underfloor heating downstairs really effective . It has everything you could need and the area is so lovely to explore . Would certainly return

I had a wonderful week with my son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren at the Cider House. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and very well stocked with everything you could possibly want for a lovely holiday. We had a delicious plate of Welsh cakes waiting...More
