Overview
Cottage -
2 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 5
Llangollen, Denbighshire, North Wales, Wales
We welcome children and pets, there is a two acre field behind the cottage, to let them run. There are numerous walks / bike rides straight from the door aswell as castles and other National Trust properties a short drive away. The outdoor / watersports centres in Llangollen are about 15 minutes drive and the cities of Shrewsbury, Wrexham and Chester not much further. The area has a rich industrial heritage evident in the number of railways and canals built to transport raw materials and goods.
There are a number of award winning pubs in the area and local shops for supplies.

Great little base for a last minute family break, our children and dog were made very welcome and we had some lovely barbecues in the garden. Some nice walks and I’ve never stayed somewhere so well equipped in the kitchen! Plenty of places nearby to...More

About the neighbourhood
The Ceiriog Valley was called 'A little piece of heaven on earth' by Lloyd George, and indeed it is. Straight from the front door there are numerous walks and bike rides, or visit the stables just two minutes walk away to go pony treking or quad biking. Llangollen is well served by outdoor persuits companies who can offer tuition in pretty much any activity you wish to try. For those of you who love your history, the National Trust attractions of Chirk Castle, Erddig and Attingham Park are close by. The area is well served by a number of excellent restaurants and pubs. All the big supermarkets deliver while Glyn Ceiriog has post office, Spar, cafe and cash point.
