Cwm, a large 16th centry long house(sleeps up to 8 people) stands on a 1,200 acre farm in the most stunning location in the Snowdonia National Park and has many traditional features including a priest hiding hole behind the inglenook fireplace. The farmhouse is located between Capel Curig and Snowdon, only 7 miles away from the well known village of Betws-y-Coed, and has fantastic views of the Snowdon Horseshoe. We allow up to two well behaved pets. Pets are not allowed on any furniture or into the bedrooms. We ask guests to clean up any pet hairs and dog mess from the garden before leaving the property. We do not allow parties at the farmhouse and ask guests to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.

Really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in a beautiful secluded setting. Loads of space & beautifully kept. We enjoyed cooking family meals and evenings in front if the fire and our teenagers loved the pool table. Will come again.

We had a blast at this cottage. Really nice! Big kitchen with everything we needed. Played pool, watched some TV en really enjoyed the scenery. Woud definitely want to return here.

Superb location, peaceful and secluded, yet within easy access to excellent mountain walking and the zip world sites. Beautiful, spacious and exceptionally well equipped cottage. We loved everything about our stay here.

About the neighbourhood
Cwm is situated in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park 2.5 miles from Capel Curig and 7miles from Betws y Coed - both of which have excellent restaurants and cafes. Plas y Benin, the well known outdoor pursuits centre (2 miles), offers climbing, canoeing, skiing courses and has a cafe and bar. The historic Pen y Gwyryd (2 miles), famous for its connection to the 1953 Everest expedition, has a lovely bar and restaurant. Snowdonia is perfect for those wanting and active or relaxing break alike - Cwm is well located for Snowdon, Zip World, Surf Snowdonia, Bounce Below, Tree Tops...(all within a 30min drive). The rugged landscape and beautiful lakes, rivers and waterfalls have been attracting tourists to the area for centuries.
Getting around
The most convenient way of getting around Snowdonia is by car. There are also local buses and a train station at Betws y Coed and Llanrwst. There is a daily Snowdon Sherpa bus that runs from Betws y Coed to the base of Snowdon (between the end of March and November). Please find the timetables for the buses and trains online.
