A lovely property in a very convenient location – Ground floor Apartment in a converted Victorian house in Canton near Pontcanna and the city centre. The Principality Stadium & City Centre are both in walking distance so NO CAR NEEDED. The property has numerous shops, a variety of cafes and restaurants all on the doorstep. It is in a converted Victorian property and occupies the whole of the ground floor with a lovely South facing private garden and parking for 2 cars. The apartment has 2 bedrooms (king or twin), 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms and an extra sleeping area in the lounge making it perfect for groups of friends or families sharing a break. The lounge has a leather corner sofa that converts to a comfortable double bed, two leather chairs and a flat screen TV/DVD with a range of DVDs and books. This leads to a light, well equipped, conservatory/galley kitchen/dining area and access to the private terraced garden with table and chairs for eating outside in the South facing (a real sun-trap!). The kitchen has an electric hob, oven, microwave, SMEG Dishwasher and Fridge. The main bathroom has a bath, WC, basin and over bath shower. The bedrooms can be set up either as twin or king configuration depending on preference. The master bedroom has the benefit of its own seating area and kitchenette for a late night cocoa or early morning cuppa and the second bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The property has full central heating making for cosy stays in the autumn/winter. Linen is provided including bath towels for each guest. Additional linen can be provided for stays of more than one week if required. 2 Parking spaces can be provided (in front of one another on the private drive - please book in advance and note there is a width restriction preventing wide vehicles or vans - check for details). Guests will have sole use of the propery but I am local and always available for queries. The house is 1km from the train and bus stations - a cab will cost around £5 (between 4) and the bus around £2 pp. The airport is around 10 kms from the house and a cab from there will cost around £30. Other Things to Note: A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request At the property will be a list of taxi firms, maps and a list of things to do that we can personally recommend along with tips and hints from previous guests. Cardiff is very centrally located city being just a 20 minute drive to some fantastic beaches and 45 minutes to the Brecon Beacons where you can spend your days relaxing or enjoying a good walk - we would be more than happy to let you know of activities in the surrounding areas. Visited Cardiff for the Speedway Grand Prix. The apartment was in an excellent location and only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Cardiff. The apartment was nicely decorated, very clean and a lovely welcome pack awaited us. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Caroline's for the UCL final last weekend. The appartment has a great location very closed to downtown Cardiff. She was very friendly and very comprenhensive of all our needs.

About the neighbourhood
The main road through the Canton district is Cowbridge Road East where you will find our property, it has many shops, pubs, restaurants and independent retailers. Canton is home to Thompson's Park and Victoria Park, to the Education Centre Llanover Hall, and to the Chapter Arts Centre with its own Cinema and Theatre opposite our property. Though the area has strong working class roots, many artists and young professionals have found the proximity to the city centre and the number of arts venues and pubs an attraction, which has resulted in gentrification and a bohemian feel.
Getting around
Cardiff Townhouse is located in a very central area close to the city centre and on a central bus route for the 10 minute ride. It will cost around £2 for the bus or £5 for a cab from Cardiff Central Railway Station.
