Miller's Barn is a delightful two storey romantic retreat featuring a 370 year old brick chimney breast, wood burning stove and panoramic views of beautiful drumlin countryside. It is part of the old mill village of Tobermoney and adjacent to Mill Cottage.It is an idyllic peaceful setting rich in bird life set half a mile off the road on a private lane. The perfect setting for a relaxing and refreshing break.

The 370-year-old stone cottage was sensitively restored in 2007 using traditional materials including pitch pine flooring, stone flags, oak beams, wood burning stove original fireplace, granite work tops and is very comfortably and tastefully furnished throughout with all modern conveniences (4 star Northern Ireland Tourist Board rating.)Wonderful views - perfect for 2.

The Miller’s barn is a delightful 17th century stone building built originally to house the sacks of grain and flour produced by the Tobermoney corn mill.
It was beautifully restored in 2007. Miller’s barn is one of the only two storey vernacular cottages in the district and affords magnificent views of the rolling drumlin countryside which surrounds it in the heart of St. Patrick’s country.
Step in through the large front door and experience the cosy quaint living room with its reclaimed pitch pine floor boards and contoured walls. Follow the signs from Belfast to Newcastle A24 until Carryduff. At the roundabout take the left lane onto the A7 to Saintfield, then on to Crossgar and straight on to Downpatrick.
On approaching the town turn right and travel straight on until you can see and follow the signs to Ardglass (B1)

Directions from Dublin (88 miles)
Follow the signs to Belfast until the Newry turnoff. Take the B8 to Hilltown, then Kilcoo. Take the A25 to Castlewellan, Clough, and on to Downpatrick.

On entering the town turn right onto St. Patrick's avenue. Turn right at the traffic lights and follow the signs to Ardglass (B1).
