I stayed 3 nights here, in the compact single room. While the room is quite ‘compact’, it is extremely thoughtfully designed to make the most of space available, while still extremely comfortable. I only took the included breakfast once, but then wished I’d made the effort the other 2 mornings, as it was great! The hosts were very hospitable, and forthcoming with helpful local information, and really couldn’t have been any friendlier. I wholeheartedly recommend Rose Park House for anyone considering a B&B in Derry.

My wife and I stayed here for one night during our first trip through Northern Ireland. We could not have asked for a more pleasant and suitable B&B as it offered everything a traveller could want. Thomas and Mary were the proverbial "perfect hosts", helpful and knowledgeable when answering our many questions as "newbies" to the town. We had a very pleasant evening, the room was comfortable, clean and quiet and we had a fantastic cooked Irish breakfast the next morning. Thomas was very accommodating in arranging for off-street parking of our car. We would definitely recommend Rose Park House to any traveller.

There is a reason the Rose Park House B&B has such amazing reviews-not only are the rooms spotless, the breakfasts hot and delicious (and made to order), the front garden full of beautiful blooming flowers, the beds the coziest in Ireland, and the location ideal, it is Thomas and Joe, who welcomed my family with open arms that made this stay unforgettable. I cannot think of Derry, without thinking of the absolute kindness of Thomas. He was eager to greet us, and sincerely welcome us, and he went above and beyond to make our stay as delightful as possible. Thomas takes the time to give an Irish history lesson, help program the Garmin, and write maps for the lost travelers. He is amazing. The B&B itself is rich with history, and was so comfortable-hot showers and soft pillows. This was a stay we will always hold close to our hearts. We tried to tip Joe for offering a ride, and all he would except was friendship. This is my favorite B&B. Thank you again, Thomas and Joe, for all that you did to make my family feel so welcomed.

We were so fortunate to stay with Thomas and Mary. They were gracious and helpful. They made sure our stay was warm and comfortable. Their breakfasts were amazing and their intimate and personal knowledge of Derry history gave us a meaningful perspective of this great country's history. We can't wait to return to their place!

From first arriving we knew we had chosen a great place to stay for our 10-day holiday. They are a lovely family who treated us as ones of their own. Thomas (the owner) always gave us the right advice when we asked him about the places we were going out to visit. Our stay at Rose Park House will always be warmly remembered.
