We specialise in welcoming family groups for holidays and celebrations and accommodate up to 8 people, though we will consider 10 if the group consists mostly of couples. Corporate bookings are more than welcome, and we have the expertise to liaise between Management and your Teams to provide them with a Home from Home while working in our local community. We also welcome solo travellers with a toddler or baby, with a discount available on request for the use of only one bedroom. Our price, however, is for the exclusive use of the whole house, parking and gated garden. Nice place with plenty of beds in Forfar
Had a pleasant stay. Property was clean and easy to find. Parking for two cars. Hosts were helpful on arrival and when texted. Had plenty of beds which was ideal for us as a group of couples attending a wedding nearby.

Great central location
Great house in a central location, handy for all amenities. House was well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Extensive welcome pack supplied by the owner was very much appreciated and enjoyed by us. The house was very spacious and clean and tidy. Forfar is not too far from some of the best beaches and scenery in Scotland. Mattie the greyhound loved Forfar Loch and all the lovely walks nearby. We visited a couple of dog friendly pubs and were made very welcome. We all had an excellent stay and would not hesitate to recommend.

Lovey home for a big family
I booked this place for my family, 4 adults and 5 kids. It was very nice and tidy. Anne the owner was very nice and helpful with me from the start and also to my family when they arrived. They were provided with a lot of goodies as well. It's very relaxing home for that short stay. I'd recommend this place if you want a big place for a holiday stay in forfar Angus.. thanks Anne..

Fabulous Forfar, gorgeous Glenisla House
Just returned from a fantastic few days in & around Forfar based at the lovely Glenisla House. From the second we arrived Anne looked after us like royalty, the welcome pack kept us fed for days with delicious local delicacies. Anne is an absolute mine of local information, everything from where to go, where to eat, where to shop & local events. In our 4 days we visited Glen Clova, played golf at Forfar Golf Course & popped in to the Open Day at the Guide Dogs for the Blind Centre. We had an absolute ball & cannot thank Anne enough for her kindness. Glenisla House is lovely, a real home from home with all creature comforts available. Needless to say we will be back!

A home from home
Had the pleasure of staying here twice this month I am local to Forfar and had family coming over from USA decided to book Glenisla house from reading positive reviews and so glad we did x very accommodating as there was another booking in the middle of our holiday Anne accommodated our needs and more. Nothing was too much trouble very attentive host who kept in regular contact throughout our stay and beyond. Had very minor issues with TV and front door was all dealt with within an hour. Lovely peaceful quiet location . Suited our needs as we had 3 people staying full time but we were able to have various family members to come and stay over throughout our stay which would not have been possible in a hotel or even in my own property as I don't have the room. A real jewel in Forfar which I really can't recommend highly enough. Would love to hire with a group of friends if needed in the future X

Perfect placement for a belated Christmas
We as a group were 9,7 adults 2 kids and were having a belated Xmas get together in a town we have visited many times. This accommodation was a great size giving everyone their own space and ability to have access to toilet space at the same time. The house is a venerable age and has many period features that give it charm and an air of quaintness it is well laid out, well equipped with lots of seating,tv in 3 rooms,WiFi . It is 2 min walk to Asda,2 min to the town centre but is in such a quiet street you would never know you were so close to all the amenities. The owner Anne is lovely and is more than happy to answer any and all questions you may have and supplies one of the best welcome packs we have had anywhere, including traditional Forfar Bridies .
