Most of the time we are here to greet you and show you around, if for some reason we can't be here, we email in advance to make alternative arrangements.

We are as hand on or hands off as you wish us to be.
A guided tour of the castle and its history is available at no extra charge on request.

We can recommend walks, restaurants, sights to visit etc if that is what you require or if you like dogs, you are welcome to join us to explore the nooks and cranieis of the estate on our dog walks.

We have just returned from a super week at Craufurdland Castle. It was for a family reunion of 13, to celebrate a 70th Birthday, and our Golden Wedding. The Castle kitchen was very well equipped, with two of everything.... dishwashers, fridge freezers, toasters, filter coffee makers, plenty of crockery, cutlery, and glasses. We booked this for a family 70th birthday as a surprise. There were 16 in our party. From booking and right through our stay Adity and Simon were amazing. Helping keep the surprise, making it special and being there throughout our stay when we needed anything. Have never had so much of a personal touch anywhere. Even going to great...

I stayed at Craufurdland Castle with 15 friends for my 30th birthday and had the most amazing time. Simon and Adity were very lovely and generous with their time. It was a beautiful building, so much history and yet all the modern amenities you'd want. I can't recommend enough!

About the neighbourhood
Near the lovely village of Fenwick, just north of Kilmarnock. Its only 25 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, with some of the best shopping in the UK. 1 hour from Sterling and Edinburgh and 45 minutes away from Ferry to the beautiful Isle of Arran.
Getting around
The nearest town is Kilmarnock , which has both a train Station and a Bus Terminal.
The no 4 bus goes through the Fenwick Village which is 1.2 miles from the castle.
X77 X76 stop on Glasgow Road 1.3 miles away, accessed by the Kilmarnock drive.
If you want to use the castle a base for sight-seeing i would recommend a car.

We are just 30 minutes drive from Glasgow airport and 10 minutes drive from Kilmarnock train Station.

Post code to follow KA3 6BX – Marchbank Farmhouse, this brings you to a farm house just before the Gates of the estate.

From M6 goto M74 stay on the M74 (Do not go onto M8 for Glasgow),
Follow M74 west and M77 Kilmarnock/Prestwick Airport.
Please ignore Fenwick signpost at Jn 7 for Fenwick /Stewarton.
Take the slip road off M77 ( Jn 8) for Fenwick/ Kilmarnock, take 1st exit at Roundabout at the end of the slip road, (B 7061).
You are now on Fenwick Main Street take 1st right into Waterslap,
pass a farm house on the left, (Marchbank), KA3 6BX , estate gates are infront of you.
