This is a modern and peaceful 1st floor apartment with free secure underground parking in the heart of Edinburgh's old town. Located just a few steps from the Royal Mile and the majority of visitor attractions, this apartment would suit families and groups of friends looking to experience Edinburgh's culture and heritage.

A wide variety of shops, bars and excellent restaurants are all within easy reach and Waverley Train Station is approximately a 5 minute walk. The airport bus also stops at Waverley station. The hop-on hop-off tourist bus passes near the apartment and will take passengers to all the key attractions that are further afield (Royal Yacht Britannia, Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh's New Town, Edinburgh Zoo)

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is in a modern building within the medieval Old Town just steps away from the historic Royal Mile. Many of the surrounding buildings are many hundreds of years old. Cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and nightclubs are all found close by and there is a daily street food market round the corner.
Getting around
There is parking in under the building but you really don't need a car to explore the city. If you're moderately fit then you can walk anywhere you need to go easily. Buses and taxis are easy to find and frequent.

Arriving by train:

Edinburgh's Waverley station has four exits. Take the exit on Calton Road and its a five minute walk east to the apartment.


Arriving by plane

There’s a small tourist information point in the International Arrivals area where you can pick up a free city map.
The airport is 7 miles (11km) west of the apartment.
A taxi direct to the apartment will cost around £30 and can take up to 5 passengers.
The airport bus departs every 10 mins and costs £7.50 return per person stopping at Waverley Bridge (next to the train station). It’s a 30 min journey and from there it’s a 5-10min walk to the apartment.
