This two bedroom town house in Garnethill is in a convenient location in the city within easy walking distance of galleries, theatres, concert halls, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The house is in a row of three mews townhouses each with it's own totally private front entrance and rear patio. There is private parking right outside the front door with space for two standard size cars in tandem or one larger sized car/van. It is a modern, warm and bright townhouse with two private parking spaces at your front door. The double bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite shower room, and patio doors onto a little private terrace. There is also a comfortable twin bedroom, and a separate bathroom with bath and shower mixer-tap. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are upstairs and semi-open plan with a double height ceiling creating a light and airy living space. TV and wi-fi are provided. The kitchen is well equipped with all the things you need for a comfortable stay including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. All bed linen and towels are provided. Garnethill is a friendly and interesting neighbourhood convenient for both the city centre and the west end. In our area you can visit the Centre for Contemporary Art, National Trust Tenement House, Mackintosh Willow Tearooms, Glasgow Film Theatre, Piping Centre, Glasgow School of Art, music venues and cafes all just a short walk. The house a perfect base for exploring Glasgow and the surrounding area. Cowcaddens underground is just around the corner, Buchanan Bus station only 10 mins walk, and Queen St and Central Stations 20 mins. The West End is 15 mins walk, and the River Kelvin walkway and Forth and Clyde canal paths are nearby. Very convenient for shopping on Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street. *** We are unable to accept friends groups under 25 years of age.More

Great apartment, well furnished with nice attention to detail, spotlessly clean, fully equipped - couldn't ask for more. Bonus to be so close to city centre too - parking on the door step. We couldn't ask for more - very impressed and will definitely return.

Really central, yet quiet, location. You are only 2 mins walk to cafes, restaurants, theatres and city centre attractions. The best shopping in Scotland, on Sauchiehall St and Buchanan Street, is just around the corner.
Getting around
The city centre and west end are easily walkable from the house. But if you want to go further Cowcaddens subway station is only 2 mins around the corner. Buchanan bus station is 5-10 mins walk. Day trips to Edinburgh, Clyde Coast, Loch Lomond, Falkirk, New Lanark etc are all easy to do from here. Queen St and Central Stations are 15-20 mins walk. If coming by car the M8 is easily accessible from here.
