Glasgow is a good base to explore central Scotland e.g. Loch Lomond, Clyde Coast and Burn's country, Edinburgh, Gleneagles (Ryder Cup 2014), (The Open - Royal Troon 2016) all approx 1hr. More

We booked this gorgeous apartment for a second time for Aug BH and after 4 years from the first visit we were so happy to find everything just as pristine as last time. It’s one of the best holiday homes we’ve ever been to - spacious, comfy, secure, clean, easily accessible to all parts of Glasgow and amazing views by the river Clyde. Perfect for anyone - special thanks to Murdo and Christine for being excellent hosts yet again.

Stayed in this flat for a long weekend in Glasgow. The flat was spacious, with a generous sized living space, open plan kitchen and good sized bedrooms. Plenty of cupboard space in the bedrooms too. The kitchen was well equiped. There is a balcony with space to sit and enjoy a sundowner while overlooking the river, but sadly the weather didn't play ball when we were there. I would rebook next time I'm in the area.

It's been 3 years since we last stayed at the flat and our return this year was just like coming home again. The flat was exactly as we left it. A bright, spacious and very well equipped accomodation with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Close to all amenities and a 5 minute walk to Patrick Station to be able to connect with the rest of Scotland. Love this flat and will always make it my home base in Scotland as long as it's available. Thank you Christine and Murdo for squeezing in an extra night to fit with the changes in our itinerary. Until the next time....

Super clean, nicely furnished well organised and equipped, spacious modern apartment, right on the river. Good coffee shops, restaurants and busy bars all close by.Stayed in Partick area, great part of town and walked easily to Botanical Gardens, Firhill, University, Kelvingrove Park and art gallery. Highly recommend apartment and Partick (and the Jags - even though they let me down - AGAIN!!)

We enjoyed the stay and recommend to everybody who will go for a weekend and finding out glasgow and Scottland. We have bin there with our car but also nearby public transport, center and shopping mall at walk distance is.

This very beautiful contemporary apartment is ideally located in the vibrant, interesting West End of Glasgow. It is close to most of the major contemporary cultural institutions but above all is directly on the historically significant, fascinating River Clyde, looking down towards architecturally stunning public buildings. The train station Partik is within easy walking distance and takes your rapidly to the city. The Partik area has at least 4 supermarkets. The numerous facilities ensured our stay was so comfortable and that we had all that we needed. The bedrooms were like havens after busy days. The owner Murdo and his family were extremely welcoming and went to a great deal of trouble to help us make the most of our short holiday. The information they provided greatly enriched our time in Glasgow and could not be found in any tourist guide. A truly memorable stay.

Really great apartment. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and nice and quiet. Very easy to travel into the city centre or a couple of stops away to get to exhibition centre or science museum as there is a train station a few minutes walk away. We really enjoyed our short break here and would highly recommend it.

Apartment was very spacious with everything you need, including secure parking underground. Partick subway station is easy walking distance nearby so we didn't use the car at all in our few days stay getting to know the city. Murdo met us at the apartment, and was very helpful and informative about Glasgow attractions. Enjoyed our stay, no complaints, would recommend.

Beautiful, spotless, spacious and so well-equipped - Murdo and Christine really have thought of everything :-) Within easy walking distance (10 minutes max) of Partick Station from where you can get into Glasgow centre, or out west to Dumbarton and Helensburgh. Byres Road and the Botanical Gardens are within easy reach too. Not to mention the length of the Clyde walkway! My daughter and granddaughter joined me for a great week away. We hit a fabulous spell of weather which is the only thing you couldn't promise to repeat! Highly recommended.

If arriving by air, the most economic route is by shuttle bus from the airport to city centre (15 mins) and then take either the train or subway to Partick. Alternatively, if travelling as a group, a taxi cab will take about 10mins and cost about £20. If arriving by train, Partick is served by train services from both Queen Street and Central Station. If travelling by car, you can drive direct to the property and park.
