Downstairs, the master bedroom has a king-size bed, a dressing room and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed and built-in wardrobes. The third bedroom has bunk beds. The ground floor is completed by the main bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over it. All bedrooms have windows looking out to the sea. Upstairs, the lounge has windows on two sides, with views North to the sea and West towards the famous Nairn bandstand and the spacious Nairn Links parklands. The dining room is at the other end of the cottage, has a view to the sea and has patio doors out to a terrace that looks over a small courtyard to the bandstand. The kitchen is between the dining room and the lounge and also has a view to the sea. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The cottage has parkland on two sides but has no garden of its own. There is a small courtyard outside the main door, enclosed by cast iron gates. There is parking available on the street to the side and to the front of the cottage. These streets are very quiet, as they are used for local access only. The cottage has been recently re-painted and re-carpeted throughout. It is being deep cleaned between guests in line with the Association of Scotland's Self-Caterer's (ASSC) guidelines. More

Beautiful cottage, amazing location - We loved Atholl Cottage. Ideal location, close to all amenities in Nairn. Stunning views out of every window across the Moray Firth. Rooms were pristine, house very tastefully decorated and modern. Ideally placed to visit Loch Ness, Inverness, Fort George Cawdor Castle etc. Would highly recommend .

We had a fabulous week in this delightful, spotless cottage close to a pristine Nairn beach. The cottage was really comfortable and I was especially pleased to have a walk in cupboard adjacent to the en suite Master bedroom. The owners have clearly taken great care to ensure their guests are extremely comfortable. The location was ideal for our trips to Inverness and the beautiful eastern Highlands. We will most certainly hope to return.

We had a 4 night stay at the cottage with our four grandchildren. The cottage is well maintained and well equipped, recently decorated and very clean, with all the expected Covid precautions. Outside the door is Nairn’s green area, with access onto the beach, the children’s play park is about 200 yards away. The house is ‘upside down’ with the living area upstairs, you get great views of the green, the sea, and lovely sunsets, from both the lounge and dining room. The bedrooms (3) and bathrooms (2) suited us well, with an extra toilet upstairs, useful in the evenings when the children were asleep. Nairn has plenty of choice for food, we enjoyed the Italian restaurant in the Aurora Hotel, and the pub grub in the Havelock House hotel, both in easy walking distance. We can also recommend the take out Pizza from the Castaway.

Atholl Cottage was attractive, clean, comfortable and well-equipped for our short stay in Nairn. The sun came out and we were able to enjoy sitting out on the terrace. It's well placed for a walk into the town, across the links or along the beach. Nairn is a great location for trips to Culloden, Fort George, Inverness, Elgin, Loch Ness, the beautiful nearby beaches, dolphin viewing and much more. The owners clearly take pride in making this house a welcoming holiday home and they were very helpful in advance of our stay.

We had a week's holiday at Atholl Cottage & could not have asked for more. The location is ideal & the cottage itself, immaculate. Tastefully decorated, comfy beds and the views from every room were stunning. The roof terrace was an absolute bonus, a total sun trap that added a real holiday feel! Parking was no issue and all in all, we couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you to Carmel for hosting us, we will definitely be back! X

We love Nairn and it was our first choice as a destination after lockdown. Atholl Cottage was exactly what we were looking for - super location for the beach, town and the rest Nairn has to offer; and beautifully kitted out for a relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the back terrace. Carmel and Gordon in addition to being welcoming hosts and gone to great lengths to ensure the cottage was safe for us to stay in. While we were nervous to be away from home after so long, we were reassured by the detail on the cleaning routine Atholl Cottage had followed. And if Atholl Cottage itself wasn’t enough we even saw a school of dolphins swimming close to Nairn beach! Thanks Carmel and Gordon for a great stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family have enjoyed the cottage now for a few years. We have made it the place for our annual family get together. Carmel and Gordon have made sure their cottage is of a very high standard. We have stayed in many holiday rentals but the level of service at Atholl Cottage is exceptional. It is spotlessly clean and well equipped for any family to have a great stay. The views from the windows are great, looking out over the Moray Firth. Its near to the town centre and has lots of place’s round about to visit. Definitely worth 5 stars !
