The area is famous for wildlife with dolphins easy to spot in the Firth, take a picnic to North Kessock, enjoy the sunset on one of the benches and watch the jumps going on with the flood tide. Sea safaris are available if you want to get up close as are Land Rover Safaris in the Cairngorms Mountains and locally as well some with Alpacas. Water sports are available along all of the Firth and well worth exploring is the popular sailing village at Findhorn with fabulous food in the local pubs and inns. Centrally locate house for shops & beach. All the comforts of home. The welcome basket from Hazel was a lovely touch, along with all the little extra touches throughout the house. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked for next year.

The Nairn House is perfectly positioned for both the beach and the town, in close walking distance for both, and with many other activities and amenities locally. The house itself was absolutely ideal for us, being very comfortable, spacious and well appointed, with all Covid-19 precautions in place. The house owner was very helpful both before and after our holiday and there was a very welcome basket of basics and goodies left for us, which was much appreciated. We loved staying at The Nairn House and hope to return soon.

We're almost at the end of our 4th week in The Nairn House. It has been the most enjoyable holiday ever. The house is spotlessly clean, and although Hazel allows dogs you would never know if there had been a pet in it previously. There is a lovely spacious lounge with a log fire and a huge kitchen with everything you would ever need. We received a much appreciated welcome hamper to get us off to a good start (there were even treats for the dog!) There are 3 beautiful bedrooms - the Big Room is on the ground floor and the other 2 double rooms are upstairs with a shower room. The big bathroom on the ground floor is to die for! Lovely roll top free standing bath and a huge shower (seperate). I need to reiterate how scrupulously clean this house is and also beautifully decorated with lovely artwork etc. Outside there is a fully enclosed garden and sheds to keep bikes etc. The location of the house is superb. 2 min stroll to the beach. Nairn has 2 beaches - the secluded east beach which stretches for miles and the west beach which is handy for the cafes, ice cream etc, and has the most amazing sunsets. There are great eateries in Nairn! Everything is walking distance and there are cafes & pubs that allow well behaved dogs. All in all this is a perfect holiday, and the 2nd time we have booked The Nairn House - and it certainly won't be the last!
