Kingfisher Cottage is located in a great location overlooking the hills and the river, and only a short walk to the main street in Pitlochry. The cottage itself is rather tired and dated in decor, and attention is required to the broken handle on the patio doors and the rocking chair. Kitchen utensils and cutlery are basic, but are sufficient enough for a weekend break. Having said that, the cottage has great potential for upgrade and the addition of decking out from the patio doors, and a hot-tub would give added benefit, particularly given the views. The cottage has plenty of room and is cosy once the heating is on and the house has warmed up. We had an enjoyable break with walks to Ben y Vrackie and the Falls of Bruar which are a short distance away. The enclosed garden was great for our dog to run around in and for us to feel she was safe and secure.
