What a lovely place! We were tempted to never leave the cottage all week, yet there is much to see and do in the area. Ginny was there to greet us and seemingly has thought of EVERYTHING. We set up shop in the conservatory and soaked in the surroundings, from the lovely view of the river valley (including some colorful sunsets) to the sheep and wildlife that walked by just over the fence in the pasture. The cottage is spacious, charming, spotless, and beautifully decorated, yet it is very relaxing and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and fully furnished. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and inviting. Pitlochry and nearby Aberfeldy have plenty of excellent places to eat and shop. Mid Balchandy proved to be an excellent base for exploring the Highlands. Ginny was a great host. We would jump at the chance to return!
