It is located in a quiet building at the foot of the Dominican church and its Christmas market in December. ️ You will be close to shops, restaurants and bars as well as the various tourist and cultural centers of interest in Colmar. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with elevator. The apartment has 3 steps. 🅿️ You can take advantage of a private garage (vehicle under 1m80) which is located in the basement of "22 rue du rempart" under the MERCURE hotel (it's 350 meters on foot from the apartment). ⚠️ The apartment and the garage are not in the same place. The car park access remote control is on the kitchen table, you have to walk to the apartment before accessing the car park. 👟 The apartment is located in the pedestrian zone of downtown Colmar. 🅿️ In front of the Mercure Hotel you will find free parking spaces for 30 minutes with a parking disc (blue disc). 🏡 All the accommodation will be yours. Always in the spirit of satisfying you at best during your stay: cleaning will be done, ️ the beds will be made with clean sheets, and a necessary sofa bed will be at your disposal, clean towels will be at your disposal as well as a bath mat and a tea towel per kitchen, 📶 free WIFI connection 🍼 come with young children? A baby cot and high chairs are available in the accommodation (Remember to take bed linen for the cot or book the "baby bed linen" option after booking). ️ Do you want to sleep in 180 cm by 190 cm beds? Once the reservation has been made, you can book a “double bed” option at €30 per room, so that the 2 single beds become a double bed, with a double mattress and a double duvet 👣 Your stay in a few figures: ⛪ 200 m walk from the Unterlinden museum, ⛪10m walk from Place des Dominicains, 🌉 500m walk from Little Venice, 🌳 500m from the Champ-de-Mars Park, 🚃 15 minutes on foot from Colmar train station (a little less with the Cœur de Ville shuttle from the Bleylé car park) 🌃 Colmar: A city to consume without moderation! For Georges Duhamel (who wrote it in 1931), Colmar was the "most beautiful city in the world"... It has also often been said that it was the most Alsatian of the cities in Alsace! Without going into the escalation of superlatives, Colmar undoubtedly remains a quite exceptional city for the richness and variety of its historical and architectural heritage. It is located near Germany and Switzerland, between the Vosges and the Rhine, Strasbourg and Mulhouse. The city offers visitors a striking shortcut to more than a thousand years of European history. In addition, Colmar retains, with its 67,000 inhabitants, an endearing aspect of a "country town" which gives it all its charm. Despite the vagaries of a turbulent history, the city has managed to preserve an exceptional homogeneity of its historic center which, classified as a "protected sector", has benefited from restoration and permanent enhancement. The vast pedestrian area of the old town allows visitors to admire the innumerable riches of a heritage as rich as it is varied, ranging from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Whether it is the Maison des Têtes (built at the beginning of the 17th century) which owes its name to the 111 heads that adorn its facade, or the Maison Pfister, a beautiful bourgeois residence from the Renaissance period but of medieval design, each of its monuments is unique in his genre. The religious art of Colmar is also very rich: the Dominican Church which houses the famous "Virgin of the Rose Bush" by the Alsatian painter and engraver Martin Schongauer, as well as the Saint Martin Collegiate Church are wonderful examples of pure and sober gothic art, of great sobriety. Strolling through the streets, the visitor, amazed, discovers the many beautiful shops, the shimmering colored roofs... Strolling along the quai de la Poissonnerie, once the nerve center of fishing and the sale of fish, we falls in love with this picturesque district, now called "Little Venice".
