However, a car is not necessary as there are good bus and train services. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the numerous restaurants, a play park, shops, the supermarket, golf course, tennis courts and bus routes. The beach is 1.5 km away and local railway station about 2 km away. The location is ideally situated to explore the Riviera coast from Italy to St. Tropez, including Nice, Frejus and Monaco. Further inland the enchanting hilltop villages and towns of the Alps Maritime, including Mougins, Grasse, St Paul de Vence and Eze can be visited. Cannes Marina is located within Mandelieu La Napoule and is only 6 km from the centre of Cannes, around the bay of Cannes. The bay has sandy beaches with water sport equipment hire facilities. The local bus to the centre of Cannes stops just outside of the apartment. From Cannes a half hourly Nice airport shuttle bus service operates. Two bus companies run services that call at Mandelieu and run to Nice airport. The bus stop for these is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Please note that we have to charge a local stay tax which is calculates at a maximum of 1.85 euros per adult per night. This will be calculated on your arrival.
