The ski shuttle buses to all skiing areas are also close by. Chamonix is well-known for the wide variety of both winter and summer activities like paragliding and parasailing (within a 20-minute walk). It is an international centre for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledging and ice skating. There is also an indoor swimming pool and hammam which is open all year round to enjoy. For wholesome fun, the Chamonix Amusement Park - Domaine des Planards (a 5-minute drive) is where you can enjoy water rides, tobogganing and more. But if you are looking for something more relaxing then the QC Terme Spa (8-minute drive) might be a better option. A wide range of restaurants and bars are also right on your doorstep. Geneva airport is a 70-minute drive from the apartment, whilst Chamonix-L’Aiguille du Midi station is just a 5-minute walk away. The Mont Blanc Express offers free rail services throughout the Chamonix valley.
