The apartment is clean, sunny and well furnished, larger than I expected. The living room, where the sofa converts to the third bed, is separated by a door from the kitchen and dining area so one person can make and eat breakfast while another still sleeps. This was great news for my 14 year old son! Frau Karin lives on the first floor and is responsive by email and in person. We woke up one day with no hot water and she was upstairs within 10 minutes of getting my email at 7 am to light the water heater pilot light - problem solved! The apartment is easily accessible by U Bahn and the neighborhood is quiet and very pretty. You do need to climb two flights of stairs with luggage to get to the apartment, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. We ate dinner in the neighborhood rather than downtown and really liked both Giesinger Garten and Feidler & Fuchs, which are just a couple of blocks away and have ample outdoor seating. I’d stay again next time I’m in Munich.
