This new and extraordinary apartment on 2 floors is located in a beautiful courtyard in the popular Bremen district. It is very comfortable and fully equipped, incl. Bed linen and towels. Good experience
Our two-night stay in this apartment was very comfortable. It is located just a short walk from both the train station and the old town center. The owner met us and gave us a brief introduction to the apartment. Everything was clean and beautifully maintained. Furnishings, flooring, appliances, etc., all looked relatively new. On the main floor the kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom was spacious with both shower stall and bath tub. Upstairs was a bedroom for two and a huge living room. Additional guests would sleep in the living room. The arrangement of the bathroom on a different floor from the bedroom was a bit inconvenient. In front of the apartment is a small patio where we relaxed. Access to the apartment's two washing machines and a dryer is just across a small courtyard in a locked room shared by neighbors. This seems to be the place for everyone's laundry equipment and a bit of storage for bicycles, etc. It was convenient and we felt safe in this community.
My only recommendation is that the owner provide written instructions for use of the appliances, trash disposal, contact information for emergency services, etc. What may be familiar and obvious to more local guests is a great mystery to travelers from more distant countries with very different appliances and traditions. In some rental apartments this comes in the form of a loose-leaf binder with instructions in several languages. We've also stayed in apartments with folders containing manufacturers' user manuals for all the appliances, also in multiple languages. Suggested local restaurants, grocery stores, etc., would also be helpful.
