About the neighbourhood
Marbella Old town is the cultural quarter of Marbella boasting many areas of history and interest. The apartment is 100 metres from Orange Square famous for its restaurants and shops.

The beaches are clean and only 5 mins slow walk away from the apartment and has access to many restaurants, cafes and bars.

The Old Town is pedestrianized and is very clean and well maintained, everything is in close walking distance

As well as famous restaurants there are also cafes close by offering very reasonable prices of breakfast and lunches in particular.

There is a comprehensive bus service that makes other local towns easily available if you wish to explore further afield
Getting around
The apartment is in the center of Marbella and shops, beaches, restaurants, bars, museums etc are all in close walking distance.

Trips further away to out of town shopping, Puerto Banus etc are a short bus rid away and cost about 3 euros. Alternatively local taxi's are readily available.

There is a boat service between Marbella and Puerto Banus which is well worth using and offers fantastic views of the coastline including Marbella's golden mile.

Journeys to and from Malaga airport cost 8 or 10 euros by air conditioned coach outside the main terminal and c.55 euro for taxi.

We have a local driver who knows the area well and this can be arranged for airport pick ups if required.

Airport: Malaga: 50.0 km
Malaga airport is the primary point of entry to Spain for Marbella. other airports i.e. Gibraltar are further away and more expensive.

The apartment is easily found in the Old Town and while it is a pedestrianised area taxis can drop off fairly close.

The bus service from the airport drops at the main Marbella bus station which is a short taxi ride to the apartment or a 15 minute walk.
