In the seclusion of the white walls of the patio under blue skies , take in your first coffee amongst orange flowering Oleanda , blue Jacaranda, and take in the fragrances of a summer morning. Whilst you plan your first day, the peels of laughter of the children, as they splash around with our three ceramic dolphins in your private 10x5m pool , resound from the back of the villa through the cool roomy lounges (incidently; each has its own enclosed fireplace for the three winter months.) You might first decide to walk the 700m up to the local supermarket (Supersol) past villa upon villa, along leafy shady alleyways in this residencial area (urbanisation.) As all supermarkets will deliver you can leave the car safely parked on the property. When you get back to the Villa , the children are chasing grandad and a football around the walled garden (only the flowers and grandad may suffer) . After packing the shopping away in the cavernous fridgefreezer, you decide the first day is just to early to familiarise yourself with the ceramic hob, the Miele Oven in the fully equipped Kitchen (Picture), so you walk the 350m (which may take as much as 8 minutes) down to the beach. As you walk between walled properties (in winter the wood fires and the scent of the flowers result in a wonderful fragrance) the children might notice the flourescent green Paraqueets that characterise this Urbanisation. You choose from one of 5 excellent, value for money restaurants (2 are shown in pictures) which are popular to locals and non-residents all year round. You sit either on beach or looking out over the sea from behind the promenade. Salads , Tapas, Seafood , Stone Oven Pizzas and even Sunday roasts can be enjoyed whilst looking out over the sea or people watching. As an aside, the Chinese Restaurant up by the supermarket is not bad either. The children want to build sandcastles and you just want to sit in the shade, enjoy the after effects of that excellent chilled bottle of wine , chat , read, doze and look out over the azure blue sea and simmering sand. Either you walk towards Puerto Banus to one of three sandy protected coves (15 minutes , see picture, excellent for children and the grandparents) or you succumb and rent sun loungers with sunshades immediately on the beach by the restaurants. San Pedro Beach and the beaches towards Puerto Banus have showers and toilet facilities. Back in the peaceful privacy of the villa you lie under the shade of the palmtrees watching them sway under a light summer breeze (there are five to choose from) or you are sunning yourselves upstairs on the sun terrasse (picture) watching birds fly by at eyelevel. In doing this you might marvel at the reds, purples, blues , yellows of the Roses , Bougainvillea (Pictures), Oleanda , Cactei against the backdrop of blue skies and the your deep blue azur swimmingpool (in summer the pool is cleaned every 2nd day) . Whilst you are doing this and possibly also thinking about the plans for the evenning, the children (now exhausted) are watching a DVD in the lounge on the 55“ TV (Free TV SAT channels and Fibre Optic internet / WiFi ). Their Grandparents (even more exhausted) have retired for a siesta in one of the three double rooms with ensuite shower/bathrooms) Everybody can have their own space here. Night life , boutiques , department stores (El Corte Ingles) and people watching are a 20minute walk to Puerto Banus (past those sandy coves) or for those in smart shoes or high heels; a 5 minute taxi ride. A 5 minutes longer ride and 7€ more (or a cheap local bus ride) takes you to Marbella , the Orange Square and Tapas Bars in the Old Town. Sport:Water sports , Bike rental (they deliver and pick up from the house) or just jogging all the way to Marbella along the beach (start very early in summer ) . For the kids , there are fun parks (Safari or Waterparks). Excursions:Ronda, a 40 minute car drive to the oldest bullring in Spain or city excursions to Gibralter or Malaga take similar time. Us:We are a European familly living in Germany / Spain and have owned the Villa for 30 years. We are well known by neighbours and community administrators. Notes: Floor fans in all rooms Extra single floor mattress on request. Baby cot - free Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: VFT/MA/07191More

About the neighbourhood
Quiet residencial Urbanisation , 0.35km , 7min walk to the beach. Over the last years the days of sunshine seem to be increasing. From Christmas onwards the sun just stays out and the winter months remain wonderfully temperate - even on the odd days it rains. The local town councils / Goverment of Andalucia have over the last 20 years invested heavily in transportation (both road , rail, and facilitated local and intercity bus services.) and also the appearances of both Towns (Old Town of Marbella, parks, the new market / pedestrian area in San Pedro. So getting to Gibralter or Malaga is simple and the toll moterways are never congested. From Malage its just another hour to the Alhambra or Skiing in Granada. Sevilla is a little longer. But it is an easy drive. Another example i...
How to get there
An alternative is to get an Airport bus direct to Marbella Bus Terminal (ticket booth as soon is in front of you as you leave the terminal) and then take a 10 min taxi ride to the Villa (note Taxi´s will only take up to 4 passengers.)
