Take a step back in time and come and stay at Darling Buds Farm, the scene of the internationally famous 90s TV series (based on the books by H E Bates) which introduced the world to the Larkins, the family that everyone wished they could be part of. Millions of us booked a date on Sunday nights in front of the television to share the adventures and lovable rogueish exploits of Pop and Ma Larkin and their family, played out in some the most idyllic Kentish countryside. Our hearts were captured by the beauty and simplistic living of the 1950s where family came first, good living a close second (plenty of food and drink for all), and the outside world was kept at arms length (Pop's money making schemes were legendary, as well as his efforts to avoid the taxman).

We had a great weekend here....lovely location, very homely and friendly accommodation, and I would recommend it to anyone. It compares really well to some of the decent Premier Cottages sites I have stayed at in the past. Some positives: A) very adequately furnished B)...More

What an amazing place! The staff were amazing 24/7, we felt so welcome! Everywhere has been beautifully restored to a very high standard. Highly recommend the Reverend Candy room it was everything and more than what we had hoped for. We will be visiting again...More

Spent 3 nights in the Oast House with friends over new year - the property has been beautifully and tastefully decorated with all conveniences and we had a wonderful time; unfortunately the weather wasn't with us so we didn't get much opportunity to walk around...More

Situated in the heart of Kent, in the stunning location of The Darling Buds of May, this relaxing and peaceful rural hideaway is the perfick base to explore the many and varied sightseeing opportunities that Kent has on offer. From shopping destinations (like Canterbury, The Ashford Designer Outlet or even Bluewater), historic places (like Dover Castle, Chatham Dockyard, Leeds Castle), beautiful towns ( Tenterden, Tunbridge Wells), Kent has it all. You can go for long walks on the Downs, visit the seaside, tour round a whole host of Country Houses and Gardens, have rides on steam trains. You could even bring your passports and take a train to Paris for lunch or a day trip across on the ferry.

• Continue along this road for about 1.8 miles, take the third turning on the right sign posted Old Surrenden Manor Road/Pluckley 6 miles
• Take the 4th turning on your left (about 3.5 miles along this bendy road, just after Stone Green Nurseries. Tuesnoad Lane. We are 500 yards on the right.
