Beautiful and comfortable flat placed in the heart of the historical Tivoli center, in the medieval San Paolo quarter, to two steps by the San Lorenzo cathedral, from villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana and the pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. The flat it is located on the second and last floor of an ancient building of the typical via del Riserraglio, in one of the most ancient districts of the city where there was the Roman area forum and where, in the Middle Ages, there were flourishing handicraft workshops and big papermaking factories. The flat it is located on the second and last floor of an ancient building of the typical via del Riserraglio, in one of the most ancient districts of the city where there was the Roman area forum and where, in the Middle Ages, there were flourishing handicraft workshops and big papermaking factories. The flat has been finely renovated and furnished taking great care of the details, trying to recreate, where it was possible, a medieval style furniture. It has a beautiful high ceiling with terracotta tiles, authentic beams and wooden truss beams, and parquet. The wooden furniture, the light fixtures, the lanterns, the copper and wrought iron torches are all craftsman works, as well as the doors, faithful reproductions of ancient models with typical bolts. The walls are adorned with reproductions of medieval arras of the Flanders. The windows of the bedrooms overlook on the typical and quiet Riserraglio square. Moreover, there is a comfortable free car park just 50 metres away. About the neighbourhood
For those who can stay longer, Tivoli is a great starting point to visit its surroundings (besides Rome that is only 25 kms away), territories characterised by beautiful Medieval villages, monasteries among the most ancient and important of Italy and little villages immersed in the peace of nature where to take excursions and to savour tasty and genuine gastronomical specialities.
