APARTMENT INTERIORS The living room has a beautiful vaulted ceiling with exposed bricks, stone capitals and baseboards. It also has a small balcony equipped with a washing machine. There is a very good heating/conditioning system which is also quiet; split air conditioner is placed in the living room.The master bedroom is furnished with an ample wardrobe and a shoe rack. The living room is fully furnished with a comfortable armchair, a sofa bed, hi-fi system, arcade game console with over 100 games and a caffe table which can be turned into a fully functioning dinner table, able can accommodate up to 8 people. The kitchen area includes an oven, dishwasher, fridge and all the kitchenware needed to cook any kind of meal. The access to the bathroom is through a pleasurable and traditional small stone room, fitted with a hydro-massage jets shower.

LOCATION Out flat is located in the area of "Oltrarno" (one of the sides of the river Arno), which is also know by the local people as the "Diladdarno" area. This part of the city is a completing part of the historic centre of florence and includes the famous districts of Santo Spirito and San Frediano. The list of the attractions in this are includes several monuments, gardens, museums and unique ancient buildings. As an essential part of this picturesque area you will find Palazzo Pitti, the Basilica di Santo Spirito, the Giardino di Boboli. Other attractions include the workshops of artisans, goldsmiths, art restorers and other crafts which are part of our culture. The true spirit of Renaissance can easily be felt just walking around.

SERVICESWithin 100 metres fro the house you will find Piazza Tasso, a famous square which has been turned into a car park for non-residents people (marked by the blue lines)
From there, there is a vast network of buses which will bring you near any attraction you might want to visit.
In piazza Tasso (50 mt frome apt) you'll find a Supermarket open every day opened seven days a week 8-20 (Sunday: 9-20); other Supermarket (Pennymarket), opened seven days a week (8-21, Sunday: 9-13), is available in Via Burchiello, 93/95 500 mt frome apt. There are four traditional restaurants in the square, all famous for their unique specialisation areas:
1) Ristorante "Barbecue", for any grill maniac
2 )Ristorante "Vecchia bettola", specialised in succulent Florentine T-bone steaks
3) Ristorante "Tramvai", focused on Tuscany cuisine
4) Ristorante "Punto macrobiotica", for a delicious vegetarian experience

In Piazza Tasso you can also find:
- Tobacconist who sells bus tickets
- Newspaper stand
- Ice cream shop
- Pub and a bakery
- bus stop to the main places of interest.

Our first visit to Florence and this was a great location to launch from. Loved the neighborhood and proximity to sites. Apartment was a nice respite and was clean and nicely appointed. Francesco was made it easy to get into the apartment and communicated well with us. We hope that we can come again!

We are in our late 60's and stayed in this apartment for 12 days. It is in a real residential neighborhood, not filled with tourists, giving us more of a feel for being in Firenze. Markets, restaurants, and bus stops, (along with patient locals when I tried to communicate in Italian) were a few steps away, and at night the...
