The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, wifi network, small storage room / laundry room with washing machine and a sofa bed for two additional persons The kitchen is well equipped with oven fridge / freezer dishwasher It's located just a few steps from the walls of Lucca and from all the major attractions of the city To access the 'apartment you move from an entry hall which is shared only as a transition zone, and where the owner has his weaving works Genni Tommasi, the owner lives downstairs with his son Luciano and are always available for advice and help! Normally I spend much of my time in my Atelier weaving but it can happen to meet in the entrance hall where I spend the time to refine and to have my weaving works It's a special experience to live in the heart of the historic center while having the feeling of being in the country; the silence of the road, the birds singing in the morning and the walls of Lucca a few steps to find yourself in a moment in the middle of a large expanse of greenery and mature trees as you savor the atmosphere of an ancient city with its sixteenth-century walls and endless corners, monuments and dense streets of a past rich in art and culture Shops, restaurants, bars and every attraction of the city are within walking distance but the true symbol of Lucca is now the bicycle that you can rent anywhere !! The apartment is located in an area where traffic is permitted only to residents so you may want to leave the car outside the walls and make use of a taxi service to the load -drainage suitcases There is a large free parking, easily accessible by an underpass of the walls to 10-minute walk from the house and the bus station is just 5 minutes The railway station is just outside the walls and is approximately 15 minutes walk The apartment is located on the highest floor of the building and there are about 50 steps which makes it an accommodation not really suitable for disabled people or people with ambulatory problems But little effort is rewarded !!!! ...More
