About the neighbourhood
Gower is a very compact peninsular, Rhossili Bay which is south Gower and Llangennith Bay which is north Gower join this is at the furthest point. There are so many beaches throughout Gower to choose like Oxwich Porteynon Three Cliffs to name but a few, all with their own individual charm. There is a well stocked shop at Scurlage 2 miles before you arrive at the cottage also chip shop, pub hairdressers, chemist and health centre. You can mostly find a village pub which serve meals, look out for the welsh salt marsh lamb, laverbread, cockles, Gower Gold beer all locally sourced from Gower. The Heritage Centre in Parkmill is a good place to visit as there is plenty for the children to do, also Perriswood Archery and Falconary Centre
Getting around
There is a bus stop right out side the cottage, the route will take you through the villages and then on to Swansea, this is a good way to see Gower. Some beaches have good parking but if you want isolated bays you will either have to walk from the cottage or leave your car and walk.
