Oxwich View cottage is located 100m from the beach and there are a first class restaurant and pub very close. The cottage benefits from a large play area, patio and barbecue area for guests to enjoy. There is a wood burner in the lounge. All bed linen, towels, bathroom and kitchen consumables, energy costs and logs as well as a welcome hamper are included in the price. The cottage accommodates 6 in a master bed room with super king size bed and en suite, a double bed room, and a twin bed room, plus family bath room on the first floor . The entrance lobby has a wc, leading to the kitchen with full range of modern appliances and then into the ling area with sitting room and dining area, wifi, television, DVD and ipod docking station. Summer hide away

Family getaway right by fab beach and great pub

Super cottage with excellent amenities, opposite a lovely, well-run and reasonably-priced pub, ‘the ship inn’. Beach is round the corner - massive, pretty, and when it’s a busier time (not Feb!) beachfront cafes and fish and chips etc. Owner Jon is super nice and helpful....More

Great place to stay!

We had a lovely relaxing weeks holiday here, house was perfect, location great for beach and walks. Local food was good too. Jon was very helpful, all in all a good holiday and we would visit again.

Excellent position near beach and comfortable for 4 adults

About the neighbourhood

Port Eynon is a small former fishing village at the most southerly point of the Gower, with its own micro climate which often means the sun is out whilst it is raining a short distance away. The road into the village ends there and the view over the top of the village as you begin your descent down to the village looking over the sparkling sea across to the North Devon coast is spectacular. The cottage is 100 yards from the beach, and close to the village pub, a first class restaurant and pizzeria, and 2 fish restaurants. You can walk along the beach east to the village of Horton, and westwards along the coastal path to Rhosilli Bay, voted one of the top ten beaches in the world. Gower Coast Sea Adventures runs from the slip way in Port Eynon with marine experts to take you into the wonder...
