Bright, Spacious, Perfect Location!
The natural light in this apartment was fantastic. Nicely decorated with a lot of beautiful and interesting artwork. We enjoyed the balconies as the weather was beautiful during our stay. Espresso in the mornings was a highlight. There is both a Nespresso machine and a kettle, so everyone in my family was covered.
The location could not have been more perfect for us. A quiet residential street with a bakery on one corner and a pub on the other. Tons of restaurants and shops nearby, and a grocery store around the corner. Just down the street from a nice park, and a block or so from Albert Cuypmarket. Only 2 minute walk from DePijp metro station (M52 Noord-Zuid line), and from several tram lines. (I know we used 3, 12 and 24).
While we did not actually cook, we did take in breakfast and dinner several times and stocked up with snacks. Dining table was large and comfortable. In terms of dishware, cookware, etc, we had everything we needed.
The office area off the master bedroom was great. My son set his laptop up and was very comfortable there during the stay. Master bedroom was large and spacious. The sitting area and balcony were lovely. Bed was large and comfortable.
The second bedroom was away from everything else, so was nice and quiet for my son. The room itself is only slightly bigger than the bed, but he was fine with it. The bed itself is a full-size/double, so might be a tight squeeze for 2 adults.
We absolutely loved the place and would certainly stay here again.
One thing to be aware of if this is an issue: the entrance to the apartment is up some very steep and narrow steps (which of course is the norm in Amsterdam). There is also an interior spiral staircase (a very cool one), but also steep and narrow.

Beautiful flat and excellent location.
Very nice flat where you feel home.
A subway and a tram stations are 5 minutes walk.
There is also a market on the same distance.
We were able to visit several places in Amsterdam thanks to this location.
The neighbourhood is full of all facilities and restaurants.

Perfectly located, serene, and stylish apartment
As one of the first to use the apartment after its renovation, we were so very happy with the quality and cleanliness of the space. The apartment is wonderfully appointed - with thoughtful details like plants on the balconies, colorful artwork, and a great shower. The location is absolutely perfect, especially with the new north/south Metro line closeby.
My only recommendation to the owner would be to provide a couple of larger pots/pans to be able to comfortably cook for 4 people - there was only one small frying pan which didnt work for a family of 4. And, visitors should be warned that the second bedroom is very small with no storage - so perfect for a family with young kids where you can keep all their clothes etc with you in the larger room (if two couples shared, one would definitely get the short end of the stick!).
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

About the neighbourhood
The Pijp is my favorite area if Amsterdam!! A vibrant bohemian neighborhood which is a hot bed of creativity. It is a place to go to experience real Amsterdam life as creatives, students and artists mingle in independent craft stores, designer bars, gourmet restaurants and quirky cafes. It is very central yet a fantastic place to spend a few days in its own right.
