We have always heard about the house boats in Amsterdam so staying there really made our visit special. The boat had a ton of character and we loved sharing a bottle of wine on the deck at night. The location was in the heart of the city, we walked everywhere. Plus the host was extremely accommodating helping to make our stay perfect. We highly recommend this property.

The highlight of our 10 night stay in Amsterdam was staying at Albert & Anna’s houseboat!! They are so very friendly and responsive, and communication was easy. From check in to check out it was flawless. The houseboat is in an excellent location, and the deck made us feel like part of the neighborhood. We have rented apartments all over the world, and this is by far one of our favorites. If we come back to Amsterdam again, we would love to stay there.

Die Küche mit allen notwendigen Details. Kurz und gut, eine perfekte Unterkunft mit einem sehr zuvorkommenden, sehr freundlichen Gastgeber!

Fabulous floating residence - inside and out! Everything inside clean, modern, convenient and designed smartly. Outside so pretty and full of flowers we were in many pictures from boaters as we sat on the back terrace. Liked it so much we Requested a return stay around this time next year!

What a great way to experience Amsterdam. Clean and comfortable accommodations in a great location that is convenient to anything you would like to do! We enjoyed ending our evenings with a bottle of wine on the deck waving at the passing boats. Albert is a gracious host and our stay could not have been more rewarding!

Our stay on the houseboat was perfection! Albert considered every detail and it felt just like home. The location was excellent as well. Although we were right in the city, it wasn’t too loud or busy, and we were able to experience Amsterdam life right on the canal! We would highly recommend this property to everyone and we hope to be back soon!

Beautiful houseboat located in the canal ring in Amsterdam. The houseboat was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the evenings watching the boats, ducks, and swans go by while sitting on the terrace. Gorgeous flowers surround the outside, it’s so so picturesque! Albert was easy to reach and very kind. The was the perfect place to stay in the heart of Amsterdam and in a quiet neighborhood.

We feel so blessed to have this experience to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam and WOW this is the most beautiful place and the location is the absolute best for walking to all the attractions. This place is so well equipped with everything! The photos can’t even compare to the beauty! We spent every morning with the best coffee on the deck and every evening with wine & cheese waving to the boats going bye. We never cooked cause there are so many wonderful restaurants & pubs to explore. The location on the Amstel river is amazing next to the love bridge and boat houses are some of the most expensive Real estate in Amsterdam! I honestly can’t even describe in words how wonderful this place is and thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful place & close to the Ice Bar Amsterdam which was so fun. We took a walking tour, food tour & canal cheese & wine tour but loved exploring the most - we also LOVED Meeting you & your beautiful wife & son. You hold a special place in our hearts and we are grateful!

Staying in this beautiful houseboat was the highlight of our visit to Amsterdam. Equipped with every modern convenience and a well supplied kitchen, cleanliness was also top notch. It was a very convenient location for walking into town and also for nearby groceries and liquor stores! After busy days walking, it was a real pleasure to relax on the deck and watch all the boats go by. Visits by ducks and swans added to the experience! Albert was a gracious host and was always quick to respond to any questions that we had. If you want somewhere extra special to stay in Amsterdam, this is definitely the place for you… a special memory!
