Blue Tulip Amsterdam offers a spacious (35m2) and elegant studio on a great location. Exactly what we were looking for from our stay in Amsterdam. Catching the 397 bus from the airport to Rijksmuseum took around 30 minutes and was easy. Blue Tulip is around a five minute walk from here and then around another 15 minute walk into the centre, which suited us fine. We were greeted in a very friendly manner by Paul who is a fantastic host! We were able to check in early and upon arrival into the apartment we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. Paul also left us with an information pack of places to visit and a map. Apartment is very spacious and clean and even has a balcony. The fridge was fully stocked for us which definitely added to the experience. The freshly cooked Apple Pie was very tasty. TV complete with satellite channels which also allowed me to watch premier league football. Can't recommend this place enough and we would 100% stay here again if we were ever to return to Amsterdam!

Apartment exactly how it looks. Very clean and perfect destination. We were met at the door with a smile which brightened our day! Highly recommended for an Amsterdam trip.

Great apartment close to the museums and night life. Easy to get to from the airport using the 397 bus. Definitely will stay her again if our travels take us to Amsterdam. One thing to be aware of - to reach the apartment there are two flights of pretty step stairs. Not an issue for us but others should be aware.

Me and my partner were very impressed with this B&B and considering it was a bank holiday in England it was a good price for a good quality place. Paul was very friendly and gave us lots of information when we arrived. When me and my partner booked this we thought it was an apartment, this trip was a mixed celebration of my 21st birthday, my parters birthday, our anniversary and were over for the Music on festival. We came to Amsterdam with a large group of friends who were staying all over the centre of Amsterdam, and had agreed to meet them at ours to make plans for the evening. Paul was very concerned and kicked our friends out. We didnt realise this was a policy to not have guests during the day time. However Paul and i did resolve this over email. Finding out this was a b&b we were slightly disappointed that breakfast was not included. Other than these minor issues Paul was very lovely and welcoming stocking up our fridge with drinks and baking an apple pie for us. The location was perfect and the accommodation was beautiful, the balcony was great. There was a coffee machine and i was very happy to find a hairdryer there as i couldn’t see this was provided. The bed was really comfy and the walk in shower was fab. Paul was very kind to let us have the front door key so we could leave our bags on our last day and we are very thankful that you made our trip so special.

Totally met our expectations like previous reviews loved the apple pie and the lovely touch of the drinks in the fridge. Caroline showed us around and gave us recommendations of places to eat and see couldn't have been nicer. Really clean, comfortable and spacious. The stairs up is very tight we were aware of this but to note it might not be suitable for some travellers. Great location. There was a small bit of noise in the morning from we think the stair or the other rooms sounded like people moving around but only lasted a short while this was in the morning and late evening didn't affect us but was noticeable

The Blue Tulip is a great base for your visit to Amsterdam. Paul (the owner) was there to greet us with a wonderful apple pie, fridge full of drinks and lots of good advice for our first time visit. You wont be disappointed and we would certainly stay again on our next trip there.

Just stayed at Blue Tulip and would rate the accommodation very highly. Host Paul was very accommodating with check-in and checkout very efficient, great range of brochures and information required for our stay. Assisted with bags up and down the stairs. Room is lovely as shown in pictures with balcony overlooking onto the canal. Spacious bathroom with rain shower. Plenty of natural light. Location is excellent and coming in from schipol was very easy on bus#197. Would definitely stay again and really enjoyed the apple tart, yum

A lovely property! Paul provided a fantastic apple pie upon our arrival accompanied by lots of drinks in the fridge and a lot of fruits. The apartment is very clean and spacious studio. There is a small kitchen area with a table and chairs a leather recliner and stool and a very large comfortable bed. There is also a small patio looking over a canal that has a table and chairs. Paul also provided details on the main points of interest and recommendations for local restaurants and details of the local tram stops and canal cruises. (Very useful) Even though public transport is very good the location is excellent so there really was no need to use It, the museum district and Leidseplein are approximately 5 - 10 Minutes walk, Central Station 25 - 30 Minutes walk & The Anne Frank House is about 25-30 minutes walk away. The ONLY negative point (although this did not apply to us). Is that the stairs to the apartment are very steep, so if you have difficulty climbing stairs and/or carrying luggage up stairs you may have to look elsewhere as there isn’t an elevator service in the building. To summarise a great welcome and we would most definitely stay here again.

The Blue Tulip is a fantastic studio apartment. The host, Paul, was very friendly & accommodating, welcoming us with with a fridge stocked with soft drinks, beer & wine. He also left us a delicious apple cake & fresh fruit along with the usual tea & coffee. The apartment has been stylishly decorated & has a pleasant balcony overlooking the canal. It's well positioned to visit the museums quarter, while both Central Station & The Anne Frank House are only about a 20-30 minutes walk away.
