In an upscale neighborhood at the center of Coimbra, within walking distance (less than 1 mile) to the quaint medieval downtown, train station, riverside, university main campus and central hospital. In a quiet street but just 200 m away from groceries, specialty stores and coffee houses and the best pastry house in town (Pastelaria Venus). While the apartment is in the very heart of the city, it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood where it is expected that noise will be kept to a minimum between the hours of 8 pm - 8 am. For this reason we do not accept bookings from tenants under 35 years old.

Excellent
The flat was better and bigger than expected very confortable with all the amenities And also very close to the center. Jose M could not be nicer answering all the questions and given a lot of advise about the area and Portugal in general. He is a Very knowledgeable person in wines. Very highly recommended

Lovely place to stay while touring Coimbra and surrounding areas.
This is such a nice and well appointed apartment close to local markets, restaurants and pastry shops. It is about a twenty or twenty five minute walk to the University and old town areas but taxis and buses are inexpensive. You could not rent such lovely and tasteful accommodation in the old town area for the price Jose and Anna are charging and it is well worth the down hill walk into the central area. Jose and Anna were also extremely helpful in explaining to us interesting things to see and places to go in the area; it was like we had our own private tour guides. We were certainly very comfortable staying here.
