The kitchen offers a full compliment of cooking facility, oven & hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle/toaster, dishwasher, together with utility room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board etc. Fully stocked stylish fitted kitchen with full compliment of cooking essentials and more, if you don't find something you need, please tell us and we'll ensure it's there for your next visit! Fully air conditioned with heat and cool option, ceiling fans too when there's no need for air conditioning, but just nice healthier natural air circulation. The two airey bedrooms comfortably sleep four in total with built-in wardrobes to both bedrooms, plus there are two single sofa beds to sleep six in total/large lounge can be 3rd bedroom. WIFI is available upon request by arrangement/small fee. SEE POOL TIMES/RULES, in the foyer of Casa Moya, I have listed the pool opening and closing times throughout the year, these are not 'our' rules but the apartment block times, so please read, are fairly straight forward rules/pool access times.. extended during the summer months. See check in/check out times! Further extensions of check in/out times are available by prior arrangement/fee, subject to availability of time between new guests arriving. 25 minutes from Malaga airport, nestled between Malaga airport and Marbella town, La Cala is a beautiful coastal fishing town has everything on offer. Many tapas bars, Spanish restaurants, large choice of places & lovely drinking & eating venues. Several Chiringuito's (beach bar/diners) dotted along the coast line to while away long sunny days all year round, which since 2015 many of these can be easily accessed from the new coastal/beach walk way. When this new walkway is complete will stretch all the way from La Cala to Marbella and thereafter onto Estepona. Also beach sports, tennis, plus children's play areas dotted around with a lovely children's park too, very clean, picturesque and includes a quaint café there in the park too to keep the refreshments to hand. La Cala has it all, a nice mix of a real Spanish community town, grown from a small fishing village, La Cala has kept the charm, and has soul! It's a thriving town all year round, unlike other resorts which are ghost towns in the low season months. Check out our pictures of which we keep adding, advising of restaurants and new places as we find them, so many to choose from, you're really spoiled for choice! Great feature of our Casa Moya is, it's all on your doorstep! The beach is literally 10 minutes walk from our apartment, great restaurants all around to suit all budgets, bars of every description and taste, from romantic tapas bars, to funky bars with music, wine bars or sports bars, there's something for everyone all year round. Calling all GOLFERS, La Cala is a renowned Golf playing area for anyone wishing to play or take up golf. There are many championship golf courses to choose from close by, such as: La Noria Golf is 10 minutes walk from apartment/9 hole. We hope you'll enjoy your stay. You will be greeted by our Property Manager, who will show you all that's necessary to have a comfortable stay at Casa Moya, including the air con simple push button operation, all the facilities, and of course security measures in taking care of our place when going out etc. Locking of all the iron ornate patio gates, pulling down the floor locking roller sun shutters and patio windows locked, as you would for your own home when exiting, even if only going to the pool! We continue to invest in Casa Moya each year and upgrade things where appropriate, from new furniture, security, to new sun loungers, new bedding/pillows and towels regularly, and so it goes on.. (New air con Oct 2017)

About the neighbourhood
Casa Moya in case you were wondering, translates to our family name Moya/Moir, and house/casa, in other words 'THE MOIRS' HOUSE. Iain and Louise Moir bought Casa Moya in 2014 and hope to spend as much time there as possible until retirement, which is still a while away for us.. But until such times we want you to enjoy as much as us and our family. We hope you will love it, enjoy it, and respect as if it were your own, so we can all enjoy it for years to come. Situated in the popular La Cala de Mijas (nestled between Malaga and Marbella on the coast and very accessible quickly from Malaga airport/25 minutes). Getting around
There are regular trains from the airport, and bus routes in both directions along the A7 main road from La Cala, heading to either Fuengirola East direction or the other way to Marbella West direction along the coast with many other destinations too. In La Cala town you can arrange excursions to further away destinations within Spain. We have taken the train from Malaga airport to Seville City, lovely train ride!
