Beautiful 11th Century Church Conversion

Certificate of Excellence
11th Century Church and its bell tower
1 of 2211th Century Church and its bell tower
Converted chapel -
2 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 8
Little Haven, Pembrokeshire, Wales
High Haven is a 21st Century architect designed contemporary home.

This is a stunning conversion of a thousand year old building by the architect owners who have carefully preserved the character of this medieval treasure whilst creating a generous contemporary home with all the comforts and facilities for modern day living.

Walking around the house you are constantly leaping back and forth across millennia… Beneath the fine old Victorian roof is a spacious and comfortable double-height living area focused upon the elegant Stuv woodburner by night, and countryside views through the 15th Century windows by day… Beyond the Romanesque Font are the clean lines of a generous dining area overlooked by a modern kitchen specifically designed to include the old oak altar… And overlooking the main entertaining spaces is a mezzanine gallery with...

About the neighbourhood
This is a fantastic location for exploring the wonderful West Pembrokeshire coastline and its beautiful beaches and coves – only 3.5 miles to the nearest beaches at Nolton Haven and Druidstone Haven for horse riding along the beach, and another few minutes to the charming fishing village of Little Haven and the dramatic expanses of Newgale famous for surfing and land yachting. Our favourites are Settlands beach which you can only reach at low tide from Little Haven (very Famous Five!), and 5 miles to the spectacular Marloes Sands (Guardian 'Searching for the Perfect Beach').

There is good walking all around, country walking from the door, also Pembrokeshire Coast Path 3.5 miles away and the Preseli Hills just 15 miles away. For mountain biking and cycling being on the edge of th...

Railway: Haverfordwest: 5.0 km
From the end of the M4 take the A48 to Camarthen then follow the A40 to Haverfordwest. In Haverfordwest follow the signs for A487 towards St David's. After about 5 km you come to Pelcombe Cross, just after passing the pub on the right, turn left to Lambston. Follow this little lane for 2 km to Lambston, bear right at the old church and the parking is immediately on the left.
