This amazing estate has been internationally recognised over many years and reflects plantation house roots that allows one to enjoy island life to the fullest. Due to its grand setting it is perfect as a rental and for central entertaining with separate sleeping arrangements ideal for families and friends to be together whilst still enjoying enough privacy in their own space.

Once a full working sugar plantation dating back to the Middle Ages, it has been completely rebuilt using the same stone which was once part of the property. Constructed with cobblestones and wood beams in the classic French-Mediterranean mansion-house style it has been transformed into the kind of property you would never want to leave!

Overall this flat/apartment was excellent. Very clean, modern, in a great location (for tube & parks). Rooms were of a good size, and the courtyard was great (and would have been used more had the weather been nicer!). There was a high chair available to...More

About the neighbourhood
Mt. Pleasant is one of the safest areas on the island and although it is extremely private, only a few minutes drive will take you to the best beaches and places with activity on the island. One could also take a beautiful hike through the estate to two unspoiled beaches which are only short distance away. The area also has what is arguably the best view on the island stretching 180 degrees over the Atlantic and Caribbean Sea, down the Grenadines to Grenada, another island country which one can see on a clear day. Fresh breezes rise up from the Atlantic below which helps keep the property free of mosquitos and cool throughout the day. Places such as these don't exist much anymore, quite simply we do not lock doors and windows at night.
Getting around
We offer a daily complimentary daily shuttle into town, or to the beach and back. We also have a one of a kind concierge service and can assist you in whichever way you require. Included within is vehicle hire, however there is also a very reliable taxi service which can be called anytime and is relatively reasonable. These services can all be arranged in advance or when you arrive.

Ferry: Port Elizabeth: 2.5 km
St. Vincent has its own international airport called the Argyle International Airport with various international carriers offering weekly scheduled flights. Two other great 'gateways' are the Barbados and Trinidad International Airports, although there are also flights from Grenada, St. Lucia and Martinique. Both Barbados and Trinidad are very convenient to fly through if you can't get a direct flight to St. Vincent.

Once in Barbados you can then take one of the daily connecting flights directly to Bequia via Mustique Airways or SVG air. They have an exclusive service where an airline representative will meet and greet guests upon their international arrival and assist with this private service.
