Copenhagen Apt Close to City Centre, Above a Grocery Store & Next to Public Tran

Condo/Apartment -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 5
Copenhagen, Zealand
Nice and fairly centrally located apartment with easy access to both bus and trains. I have always been able to accommodate the arrival time of my guests as I have friends that have been able to meet them if I am working. Therefore, there is a high likelihood that I would be able to accommodate all 'out of hours' arrival times (in addition to ones during the day) in the future. Public transport can be taken directly from the airport to right across the street from my apartment. If you are arriving at the airport you can catch the metro from inside the airport (it's faster than a cab). You'll have the whole apartment to yourself which includes a large bathroom and balcony. The bedroom is located away from the street and right above a supermarket, so you won't have to worry about street noise keeping you awake or noise c... Read more

The studio is clean, not updated in any way, very basic. You get everything you need there. There was no Wi-Fi, but that was a freak accident due to the owner traveling and getting internet bill past due. Probably won't happen again. There is a...More

City center goes all the way past Nørreport station so my apartment is actually fairly central when the whole city is taken into account.

Whilst the apartment was small, we were out all day so this didn't matter. I would recommend for a couple only as there is no room for suitcases. The apartment contained all of the basic amenities & its proximity to the grocery store was great....More

I have a modern stove and large bathroom with shower that was renovated 2 years ago. My kitchen was also renovated a year ago. So I'm not sure what's not modern. Perhaps lack of a dishwasher? I can't think of anything else. Please fill me...More

About the neighbourhood
There are a lot of nice cafes and restaurants in my area. My favorite cafe is KaffeKilden just a few doors down on Tagensvej. They have the best cheescake.

The hospital is a few minutes away (which hopefully you won't have to visit) along with one of my favorite attractions in Copenhagen: Statens Museum for Kunst (The National Gallery of Denmark). Admission to most of this museum is free.
Getting around
Public transportation is just across the street and one bus stop around the corner and another across the busy intersection. Bike paths are excellent and if you are loaning my bikes or renting your own, they are my favorite way to get around Copenhagen. It's considered the 2nd most bike friendly in Europe (Amsterdam is first).

If you are arriving at Copenhagen airport, estimated travel time to my address using public transport is 30 min. I recommend you look at dsb's website to see if you can get a discount depending on how many you are traveling with. It's likely cheaper (and faster) to use public transport than take a taxi. It may also be good to download the dsb app to your phone so you can purchase tickets more conveniently. You can catch the metro directly from inside the airport, get off at Nørreport, and take the 6A bus to the stop Jagtvej. My apartment is across the street.
