Traditional Farmhouse in a boutique style in Xaghra, Gozo

Farmhouse -
3 Bedrooms , 3 Bathrooms , Sleeps 6
Xaghra, Island of Gozo
A traditional boutique style farmhouse located in Xaghra, Gozo.

This old style renovated farmhouse has a boutique style flair because it is also my second home when not booked and off season. It has a large open plan style kitchen with a kitchen isle and stools.

A comfortable dining and living room area with a 41” flat screen TV as well as a large private sunny 19 x 11 ft pool, (5.6m x 3.3m and 1.3m - 1.8m depth) a first floor private sunny terrace suitable for al fresco dining or to enjoy a glass of vino on the outdoor couching area.

The 3 large bedrooms sleep comfortably 6 people of which 2 have an en-suite and the upstairs bedrooms have a walkable balcony overlooking the pool.

Its a non-smoking house but there is a lot of outdoor areas for smokers. All bedrooms have air conditioners.

The house is a short walking distance away...

About the neighbourhood
Xaghra is a great village while its close to Ramla beach to sunbath and a short distance from the main square where there are plenty of restaurants and bars and is also a short drive away from the capital Victoria where there is the citadel!

In Xaghra are the Neolithic temples which are well worth a visit when you are staying there. Plenty of shops also for your amenities.
Getting around
If you are planning to totally relax and enjoy the house and the pool during the day then you don't need a car! You can buy locally for food and go for dinners on the square. If you have kids there is also a playground area near the temples which is walkable. There are also busses to get around!

If you are planning to do sightseeing than I do advise to rent a car and Gozo Garage has competitive rates or car rental from the airport.
Car advised
How to get there
You can pre book a taxi to pick you up from the airport which will bring you to the ferry (around 45min journey) then you walk to ferry which takes 20 min to cross over to Gozo and ferry go very frequently especially during the summer months. On the other side you can get a taxi that will bring you to my house (10 min).

Alternatively, you book a direct transfer and they'll bring you all the way to the house!

You can rent a car from the airport for very reasonable rates and drive to the house.

During the day you can take the bus outside of the airport arrivals terminal that brings you for €1.50 to the ferry. It’s takes about 1hour 20 min.
In Gozo you can take the 322 that stops near my house.
