This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of one ground floor double, another double on the first floor and a twin. The cottage also has a ground floor shower room, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed, communal gravelled courtyard with furniture. The minimum length of stay at this property is three nights Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers. Town: The town of Thirsk is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east. The town offers a quaint market place, Georgian buildings, a Norman church, shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema, a leisure centre and the World of James Herriott Museum.

Everything you can ask for and more.....a real treat
This has to be a benchmark for the quintessential relax and unwind holiday.. The granary has all the mod cons you need to make it a home from home for the stay, the local attractions are all interesting and fun. I cannot say more than on the first night of our stay we were already looking for a week to book next year.

Brilliant location. Excellent accommodation
The facilities were excellent, the location was great for exploring North Yorkshire and the coast and the owners very friendly. Will definitely book this cottage again.

Best accomodation we have stayed in
Excellent accommodating owners and very friendly,plenty of room,well fitted out. Could not fault area or position for visiting,close to many places in Yorkshire. Would give them 10 out of 10.

5 Star Cottage in the Yorkshire Dales
Wow, what a beautiful cottage in a fantastic area of the Yorkshire Dales! We chose this cottage as it had a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for my sister who is disabled. We loved this home away from home. So comfortable and had everything we needed. Victoria and Ed were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend a stay in any of the cottages at Water Hall Farm.

quite simply, suberb.
The cottage was brand new; set within the backdrop of the working farmyard. As such the accommodation blended both modern facilities and comfortable 'home from home' surroundings within a truly relaxing farmyard setting. Should you need a friendly local guide or if things go wrong, the owners being on site help maintain the relaxing atmosphere, which was a marvellous benefit. I will certainly be coming back. The children thought it was awsome too, which was a tick in all boxes for us.
