Hidden Gem!
This place was amazing, truly a hidden gem. Set down a quiet country lane, this place gives you the perfect nights sleep, all you hear are the birds which was simply wonderful. Their garden is host to their chickens and ducks which you can see from the private annex as they wonder around. The annex was cosy, comfortable and a great nights sleep. The breakfast was simply one of the best we have ever had, created from their own chicken and duck eggs, plus bacon and sausage which was delicious. We will definitely be visiting in the future as we did not get a chance to try their very own home made honey. Thank you so much David and Rosie for a truely wonderful short break for us. Just wish we could of stayed longer. Looking forward to seeing you both in the future.

Short break
The annex is the prefect place for a couple staying a few days or just an overnight stay, David’s breakfasts are excellent with plenty to keep us going all day, we were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble, thanks for a lovely stay.

Cosy and comfortable
A quiet location on the edge of the village of Isle Brewers on the Somerset Levels. A very comfortable, self contained room with en suite facilities. Rosie and David made us extremely welcome, we were given a tour of their wonderful garden and had the pleasure of meeting their three little piglets.A fabulous breakfast is cooked and served by David which will keep you going all day. Make sure you try the honey, which comes from their own bees. Ideally situated for shopping in nearby Taunton and 30 minutes drive from Clarks Village in Street. Other attractions are nearby including National Trust properties and the Jurassic Coast.

Wonderfully peaceful and lovely decorated place to stay!
We had a lovely stay at David and Rosie's B&B and our one night stay was all too short! The room was really comfortable and well laid out with all you could ask for and it felt like home from home! We would thoroughly recommend staying here to enjoy the local area or even just passing through. Nothing was too much trouble and we shall certainly be returning. I would recommend having the honey on toast at breakfast as it is from the bees on premise!

Amazing stay, couldn't have been better looked after
I cannot recommend this cottage enough, we stayed in the self contained annexe and it was just lovely. There is a beautiful garden to enjoy and we were fortunate enough to get a tailored breakfast every morning. We had the best stay, and would definitely return.

Map
About the neighbourhood
Brewers Cottage is set on the edge of a small village just off the Levels in rural Somerset. The area is rich in wildlife and we are close to several RSPB reserves. Mid way between Ilminster and Langport we are close to many historic market towns and there are many gardens and National Trust properties to visit nearby.
Getting around
This is great walking or cycling country, but equally there is a lot to explore by car. We are mid way between the North and South coasts and close to the Dorset and Devon borders.
Access
Car advised
How to get there
From A303 take Ilminster turn off roundabout (onto what was the old A303) Esso garage on left, go through Watergore until you reach a mini roundabout. Go across the roundabout turning right to Barrington after about 50 yards. (There is a brown sign to Barrington Court) Follow through Barrington, taking a right turn immediately after the village hall. At the main road turn right and take first left into Isle Brewers Lane. On reaching the village pass the church, Bartlett's Farm and the garage go round next corner and Brewers Cottage is on you right. There is parking on the left at the bottom of the drive. Please park to the right by the double gates.
