For your peace of mind and for a safe stay, we have taken advice from the Government and the Professional Association of Self Caterers and are working to the cleaning protocols and industry guidelines for holiday cottages. We have also been awarded the Visit England 'Good to Go' accreditation for our compliance. Everything is in place for a safe and happy stay! Air conditioning keeps it cool in summer and the wood burner is perfect for chilly evenings (initial logs, kindling and firelighters provided). Super comfy beds and high quality bed linen ensure a great nights sleep. **The king sized bed can be split into two singles (2'6'), ideal for children** The well equipped kitchen means that you can eat in - or go out and enjoy one of the many eateries in the local area. Set in a peaceful location with great views, relax in the orchard with a book or walk in the local nature reserves and maybe spot deer, foxes, badgers and red kites flying overhead. With easy access to the A1, A47 and A14, it is the ideal location to explore everything this beautiful and undiscovered area has to offer. Described as the undiscovered Cotswolds, we are located at the gateway to five counties and a ten minute drive from Stamford, the jewel in Lincolnshire's crown. Rutland Water and Peterborough Cathedral are within a 20 minute drive as well as many local market towns. There are local shops, pubs and restaurants within 2 miles. Our water is carefully filtered and supplied from a natural spring. A welcome pack is provided with breakfast basics. There is an un-fenced brook, 22 yards from the property. Please note that two night stays (where available) will be charged at the weekend rate. Well behaved dogs are welcomed (max 2). A charge of £25 per dog per stay will be made.
