If you are in a 'bubble' with a vulnerable person he/she is allowed to accompany you. This applies to work personnel too. Comfortable, spacious, well equipped upper part of a traditional house offering self-catering accommodation for 2 to 6 in the centre of Ballater. Not really suitable for children under 5. Everything is provided for a relaxing and pleasant stay. Electricity, towels and bed linen are included. Another great stay

Wanted for nothing.

Excellent communication all the way through - and even during our stay. The welcome & tour we had to start with & offer of assistance was first class. The welcome basket of homemade jam/marmalade, milk, tea, coffee (which was excellent) shortbread biscuits was much appreciated....More

Lovely & Cosy

Duneire was like home from home, better equipped than home actually! Elizabeth was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again when we are up that way next time

Very welcoming

Duneire self catering apartment Ballater

Stayed here for the weekend plenty of room for a family of six .Our hostess Elizabeth couldnt do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back

Should you wish to hill walk, there are several walks which do not require a car, others can be accessed by bus or a car/taxi. The same applies for sightseeing. There are buses to Braemar, Balmoral, Muir of Dinnet, Crathes Castle, Drum Castle and Aberdeen. To travel to Loch Muick, Glentanar, Distilleries, a car is necessary.
