In addition, there are National Trust properties to visit such as Mottistone Manor and its gardens. Also managed by the National Trust, the coastline is famous for its dinosaur fossils, geology and shipwrecks. We have lived on the Island for most of our lives and would enjoy advising and helping guests to plan their visit and make the most of their time here. There is secure storage for bikes and ample off road parking. For guests arriving on foot and staying for a number of nights, we would be happy to collect from Newport bus station. There is a stop nearby and a bus service of about 6 buses per day in each direction. Breakfast is provided in our breakfast room. A cooked breakfast is offered as well as yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, preserves, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Vegetarians catered for. We are unable to take children or pets, and no smoking is allowed in the house. We'd appreciate it if outdoor shoes were not worn in the house. Usual check-in time is 4-6pm, but this is flexible, and check-out time is 10am. The minimum stay is 2 nights.

Fabulous accommodation with exceptional hosts - highly recommended!
Homelea is a delightful place to stay whilst on the Isle of Wight. Our en suite room was excellent in every respect: spotlessly clean, comfy bed, plenty of storage space, tea, coffee and biscuits replenished daily, good Wi-Fi and beautiful views of ancient woodland and downs from the garden and out bedroom window. Breakfast was generous and very high quality setting us up for the day - freshly prepared platter of fruit, juice, cereal and an amazing cooked breakfast 😋. Mike and Helen, the owners are truly exceptional hosts - you couldn’t ask for more. They are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgable about the island and all it has to offer. Nothing was too much trouble. Our stay was further enhanced by their beautiful garden and outside space. We had breakfast on the terrace each morning and were able to sit and relax in the garden after a hard day at the beach! Thank Mike and Helen, our stay was perfect in every way and that is down to your hard work and endeavours to make sure your guests enjoy their time at Homelea. We will definitely return and recommend you without any hesitation. Hope to see you again soon 😊.

A pleasure to spend our time in Mike and Helen’s home
This was our 4th visit to Homelea where we were welcomed with warm affection. Mike and Helen’s home is spotless and our on suite room gave us an inviting stay. The house is situated in a beautiful quite village and is convenient for any visit. We have stayed in each bedroom twice and they both have given us everything we wanted. For the first time we were able to have our delicious cooked breakfast in the beautiful garden which is well stocked with flowers and trees. The hospitality is second to non and we would have no hesitation to visit again or recommend Mike and Helen home as a place to stay.

Just Perfect
Superb hosts and accommodation. Made to feel one of the family. Great breakfast and conversation. Mike & Helen go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The use of the garden is an added bonus as is a pub within walking distance. Couldn’t have asked for more.

A lovely, friendly, quiet and very comfortable place to stay
A very lovely home - and a fantastic garden - on the western side of Brighstone in the loveliest part of the Isle of Wight. The owners are both very friendly and knowledgeable enthusiasts about the Island. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, their hospitality faultless, and the breakfasts perfect in my opinion, with every effort made to accommodate special diets and preferences. Really - we could not fault our stay, and will certainly visit again.

Once again, fantastic!
After a great first stay back in June, we returned to Homelea for our second look at the island with a view to retiring here. A great big welcome from a very svelte Mike (Hellie was working), followed by a much-needed cuppa and a catch-up in the immaculate garden, grabbing the September sun. Our stay couldn't have been better; well-decorated rooms, comfortable bed, immaculate bathroom, well-stocked tea tray (with fresh cookies daily). We were especially touched by the two small vases with the last of the sweet peas from the garden. Freshly-cooked breakfasts are Mike's speciality and they certainly set you up for the day! As before, we didn't want to leave.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST B&B!!
We have traveled the world extensively and we all agreed this was the best B&B we've ever stayed in!!! Both inside and the outside gardens were impeccable and inviting. The accommodations were splendid! Mike and Helen were incredibly generous with their time and hospitality. Since we were hikers and no available transportation Mike drove us around the area to see the beautiful sights, drove us to local restaurants, and ensured we could see as much as possible on our day off. And the breakfasts?...beyond delicious. Full English style with everything imaginable. Loved, loved, loved our short stay at Homelea! I may return to the Isle of Wight for an extended stay and this will be my choice for a magnificent B&B!

Wonderful hosts!
My sister and I had such a lovely stay at Homelea. Mike & Helen are perfect hosts, happy to provide maps, make recommendations and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfasts were delicious as were the biscuits left with the tea tray in our room. We enjoyed having the extra space of a sitting room to sit and read or enjoy a cup of tea. Most highly recommend!
