Perfect Holiday Cottage
We had an amazing week (October) staying at The Granary. It is the perfect base for sightseeing and walking, and was really cosy and comfortable. The Granary is very well equipped - the host has thought of everything you might need. It is in a quiet location within a few minutes walk of the village and the pub! The walled garden is just lovely.

A wonderful holiday
This beautiful cottage is situated in a quiet lane not far from Brighstone village. Is is spotlessly clean & equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The welcome hamper is a lovely touch filled with delicious produce from the island. The garden is private & gets the Sun in the morning, perfect for chilling out with a morning coffee. The cottage is in a great location- whether you want to go for a cliff top walk, stroll into the village which has two great cafes which I can highly recommend, a newsagent, village shop, pub & gift shop, or travel by car to one of the many attractions that the island has to offer.

Charming, clean and quiet cottage close to the village and beach.
The Granary 2 is a beautiful stone cottage located a short walk form the centre of Brighstone and half a mile or so from the beach at Grange Chine. The accommodation is comfortable and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a very pleasant lounge/dining room with satellite TV and DAB radio. The beds were comfy and we slept very well; it was very quiet at night time. The outside area is lovely, with a table and bench and is quite the sun trap, with Blue Tits and Sparrows busy at the nest boxes. We loved staying here and will return for sure. The whole booking process was flawless, Teresa arranged discounted ferry tickets for us and the hamper on arrival was a treat. The Granary 2 was professionally run, spotlessly clean, well-equipped and very highly recommended.

comfortable cottage ideal for exploring the West Wight
We have thoroughly enjoyed our return visit to 2 The Granary. The cottage is so comfortable and well placed. The quiet walk past the Dragon Tree to the village became a daily habit, as did longer walks in all parts of the west of the island. The sunshine was an added bonus! Highly recommended without hesitation!

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage, it was very clean had everything we needed, very quiet and relaxing. The welcome basket of goodies was very much enjoyed. There are some lovely walks around the village and down to the sea, Brighstone is a lovely village and the village shop has everything you need. Thank you Teresa for a lovely holiday.

Perfect base to explore IoW
2 The Granary is a charming upside down cottage in Brighstone on the westerly side of the Island (in our opinion the better side of the Island!). The cottage is comfortable, has everything you can possibly want or need and in a great, quiet location but in walking distance to the shop and cafe in the village. I would add the local pub but whilst it was a nice spot for a drink we wouldn't recommend for food! Teresa, the cottage owner was on hand if needed and we had a lovely welcome hamper of local produce on arrival. IoW tea is amazing! Yarmouth is about a 15 minute drive away and probably the best place for good food. Beach about 15 minute walk too. Would highly recommend 👌🏻 P.S. a drive out to Bluebells @ Briddlestone Farm for breakfast is a MUST!

One of the best
We fully agree with everything already said by others. It is the nicest cottage we have had on the island and already plan to return in October. The cottage is spotless and perfectly equipped and the location excellent. We emailed an order to the village shop the week before our visit and they had it ready for collection the day we arrived with lots of locally produced fare. It is a perfect spot for walkers as there are routes from the door plus the ease of taking the bus and then walking back from east or west. Peace and quiet assured but close to the centre of the village. The covid arrangements were excellent but unobtrusive and we forgot the whole thing was happening for a week. Everywhere we visited was so well organised.

A lovely cottage to stay in.
I have rented cottages in Brighstone over many years and 2 The Granary has been one of the best. The Cottage was very clean and we felt very happy and confident staying there in these times of Covid. Teresa’s instructions and advice were comprehensive but friendly. The cottage was spacious and very well equipped and the Welcome Package of local ingredients was a lovely addition. To keep a low profile in these Covid times, we walked on the beaches and north onto The Downs, all from the cottage. We shopped at the Co-Op in Freshwater and had coffee and cake at The Chessell Pottery. All felt very safe. Thank you for a lovely break.

Cosy, clean, comfortable cottage in a peaceful setting.
Booking with Teresa the owner was efficient and easy and included the ferry. Down a quiet lane, a ten minute walk from the local shops in Brighstone, is this lovely, picturesque cottage. The two bedrooms are very comfortable and there is plenty of storage. A lot of attention by the owner, Teresa to maintaining Covid regulations was appreciated. Upstairs a cosy lounge and dining area with a well equipped kitchen. The secluded garden is a bonus! A 15 minute walk to the beach. There is a pleasant shortcut to the village via the mill pond and dragon tree. A very comfortable stay for the four of us and we will certainly visit again.
