This four star detached stone cottage provides a rural retreat as a base for relaxing and enjoying outdoor activities.
Tastefully and thoughtfully converted it is perfectly suited to two people. The accommodation comprises one bedroom, an open plan lounge-diner, and small kitchen. There is a shower room and tiled lobby for muddy boots! The patio has outdoor furniture to relax and capture the last rays of the setting sun.
Electric heating provides a comfortable environment
We are located between two villages - each around a mile away - with traditional pubs serving ales and good food.

Getting around
You will need your own transport unless you plan a complete walking adventure- in which case organise a supermarket delivery to get your groceries. The village shop is a strenuous uphill walk.
How to get there
SAT NAV SYSTEMS If arriving from the North via Monmouth, beware the Sat Nav which suggests you turn left towards the Forest of Dean - continue instead towards Chepstow on the A466. FROM THE SOUTH AND EAST Take M4 and then M48 to Chepstow - over the old Severn Bridge - a Toll Road. Follow the Monmouth road (A466) for about 6 miles, through Tintern as far as a RIGHT turn into Brockweir, over the bridge. Drive up the hill and take the first LEFT - Coldharbour Lane - and follow this for about 1 mile. At fork bear RIGHT continuing towards Coldharbour. Past the phone box we are the third driveway on the RIGHT - OAKGROVE is marked at the end of the driveway. FROM THE NORTH Take M5 and then M50 towards Ross and then Monmouth. At Monmouth turn LEFT over bridge - (A466) towards Chepstow. After about 7 miles take LEFT turn to Brockweir, over the bridge and continue as above SHOPPING TIP - Chepstow or Monmouth will be your best place to stock up on supplies for your stay.
