The apartment can sleep eight people in one king-size double bedroom, a double, a family room with one double and one single and a single together with family bathroom. Free overnight and weekend off road parking for 2 cars (public car park available next door during weekdays charged at - up to min £0.80, 1-2 hours £1.40 and 24 hours £3.50). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2 mins walk. The owner provides a welcome pack at this property that includes a small box of locally sourced chocolates, bottle of milk, tea, coffee and bottle of wine (red and white). Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales. Town: It was the constant 28 degrees centigrade of the bubbling blue waters of Buxton's eight thermal springs that originally attracted the Romans to the town. However it was during the 18th and 19th centuries, under the patronage of successive Dukes of Devonshire, that the Palladian splendour of the Buxton of today was designed and built - including the magnificent semi-circular Crescent, The Great Stable, Hall Bank, The Square, The Pavilion Gardens and The Opera House.More
