We stayed for 3 nights in the amazing Phocle Ridge. Absolutely loved the place. We stayed as a family with our cocker spaniel dog. David and Carolyn were excellent hosts. On hand if anything was needed. The cottage has just about everything that you would need for any weather. From an outside drying area if it’s raining, so that you can change out of muddy boots and dry off wet dogs to a lovely eating area outside and a summer house with heating for the colder autumn. We made good use of the hot tub for a chill out zone. The lodge has everything you could possibly need and more. The finishing touches such as a loaf of bread from a local baker, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee all made it a perfect stay. Ross on wye is a little hidden gem. There are plenty of walks to be taken and a lovely town centre if you fancy some shopping. We took our dog to the river and she loved a good swim. Plenty of free parking in town centre as well as car parks. We enjoyed our stay and will be looking to return again soon.
