A walk over Hampsfell offers stunning views of Morecambe Bay with a visit to the Hospice before droping down to Cartmel. The hills have many outstanding examples of limestone pavement formed in the Carboniferous Period. Samples of these interesting stone formations can be seen in many local walls and gardens, including our own garden!
